TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! STAFFERS LEAVING KMBZ AMID RATINGS DECLINE!!!

Once again we notice Kansas City legacy media enduring harsh times as technology and listening habits of the public evolve.

To start the week, a cadre of listeners offered protest and conspiracy theories upon the departure of engineer and voice of reason Rod Babcock.

Dana & Parks worked diligently to calm the discontent via social media but nobody bought their excuses.

Then, last night Kara Marxer called it quits citing a cliché intention to spend more time with her family. She was a low-key fave for call-in radio dweebs . . .

But I digress . . .

And so . . .

IS KANSAS CITY LISTENING TO THE DEATH RATTLE OF COMMERCIAL NEWS RADIO?!?!?

For a time, talkers dominated the discourse but a few years ago KMBZ ditched the hard right conversation and focused more on boomer humor to bring in better numbers. It seems that decision might have backfired.

You decide . . .
