KCTV5: Worlds of Fun bans 9 minors after weekend disturbance

"KCTV5 knows one person was given a citation and released, but there seems to be a discrepancy about the number of people involved. More than five law enforcement agencies went to the park Saturday night after an off-duty Clay County sheriff's deputy called for help. Worlds of Fun spokesman Chris Foshee said the nine people banned from the park were minors."

Meanwhile, locals should take note that banning youngsters might help an amusement park but mostly just works to shift the local youth violence problem around for Kansas City metro denizens of many local hot spots where the same threat exists.
