The conclusion of Holy Week in Kansas City brings more murder to local streets. Here's the latest . . .

KCPD: Victim dies from injuries in shooting Friday evening near 34th, Olive

Police were called the scene while the victim was still alive but he died from his injuries shortly thereafter . . .

Again, this is the 42 homicide so far this year compared to 40 at this time last year for what remains a nearly 10-year murder high for KCMO at this date on the calendar.
