This year has seen an uptick in crime across the bridge but the fact of life isn't highlighted much as income disparity, a growing drug trade and more apartments bring increased violence to suburban enclaves across the bridge. The latest example:
Woman robbed at gunpoint outside Northland movie theater
KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -- Authorities are investigating after a woman was robbed at gunpoint after leaving a Northland movie theater. Police were called about 8 p.m. Tuesday to AMC BarryWoods 24 located at 8101 NW Roanridge Rd. on a reported armed robbery.
