KANSAS CITY BLIZZARD 2018 FAIL: WILL CITY HALL CONTINUE LOUSY SNOW & ICE REMOVAL THROUGHOUT WINTER?!?!
With winter ahead, it looks like Kansas City isn't prepared for any kind of serious snow or ice buildup and residents are starting to take notice of the continued FAIL.
Accordingly, we ask . . .
WILL KANSAS CITY CONTINUE THIS LACKLUSTER SNOW & ICE REMOVAL PERFORMANCE THROUGHOUT WINTER?!?!
Whilst Mayoral and Council reelection candidates hope to pad their resumes, it's important to hold them accountable for this basic city service.

You decide . . .
I am so pissed off, I'm getting ready to grab my snow shovel and go outside and lean the shovel against the house and drink a cup of coffee, as the warmer temperature melts the snow. Take that KC !
ReplyDeleteOh no! My streets! What do we do!! The ice!, My God the ice! I want my street to be 100 % free of snow and ice, and I'm so mad! Sure, I never leave my house, but I want a clean street! What do we do? God, why have you forsaken us? Oh no!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteKCMO actively annexed mile after mile of land to become the unwieldy lump it is today. All we hear is how many miles of streets they are responsible for. Well, it's your own fault KCMO. You're like the kid who ate the whole birthday cake and complains about a stomach ache.
ReplyDeleteNo one expects any city to have a 100 percent success rate but KCMO comes across as not even trying over the weekend with this snow removal process. When they said the process was 100 percent complete when nearly every residential street was iced over is fucking unacceptable.
ReplyDelete^^and yet the city isn't complaining dummy. It's the shithead geriatrics. The rest of us get out and about with zero problems. Driving in winter is a skill and the geriatrics do not have it. Damn few do.
ReplyDelete^^^^^^^
ReplyDeleteOMG 10:31 is geezer hater aka Byron F**k Up!!
How funny!
Since you're so good at driving did you make it to the schools to get your tax payer paid free lunch Freeloader ?
^^since you obviously are not good at driving, and don't have anything else to do, why don't you have a job? You sure have enough time to complain all day.
ReplyDeleteSounds like need for a Snow Removal Tax. The only way for KCMO to solve problems is to tax their way out.
ReplyDeleteThis has been the worst snow removal I’ve witnessed yet, a complete failure, the incompetence of sLIE and company is staggering
ReplyDelete^^Oh boy! That and a quarter will buy you what gramps? Nothing! Quit bitching, get off your lazy ass and plow your own damn street! Fucking pussy! Boo Hoo! My street is icy! Whaaaa!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou asked the question "Will Kansas City continue this lackluster snow and ice removal performance throughout winter?" What a dumb question. Of course. Just like all the previous years. Want proof? Drive on 103rd or Bannister (95th) into Kansas. As soon as you hit the state line, the streets are clear. How can little Podunk Leawood do it and the big bad KC cannot? These streets are ALWAYS snow packed or icy on the Missouri side, and they are main arteries. I just can't buy the "miles of roads" argument when even the main streets are skating rinks.
ReplyDelete^^Good for you gramps.
ReplyDeleteWe are lucky enough to live near a bus line that allows us a 50/50 chance of making it onto the main roads when snow or ice fall. We live close to NKC and Gladstone, both of which clear their streets in a timely manner. We are unlucky enough to pay taxes to a municipality that doesn't give a flip about their residents. Can we please de-annex and petition to join some other city? We will gladly pay more for taxes if we can get decent city services. Please, please, please????
ReplyDelete^^Or get this, you could actually move! How about that retard?
ReplyDelete"WILL KANSAS CITY CONTINUE THIS LACKLUSTER SNOW & ICE REMOVAL PERFORMANCE THROUGHOUT WINTER?!?!"
ReplyDeleteOnly if the Kay Barnes policy of letting global warming clear the streets continues.
To think our tax dollars pay for someone to stalk Tony’a blog half the day.
ReplyDeleteSnowflakes complaining about snow how ironic. To the saferoom stat.
ReplyDelete^^Ha!
ReplyDeleteChicago, Denver, Cleveland, New York, Boston: all exponentially larger than Kansas City, all clear their snow off 100% better. Fuck anybody who did not vote in the mayoral and council elections. And as for those who voted for this...
