For the past two years we've talked about grassroots resistance to the KCMO Burns & Mac Water Dept. - Today the newspaper sold it as content thanks to one story out of many:
Retired KC resident sues city over shocking $710 water bill | The Kansas City Star
When Richard Elbert logged in to pay his water bill in July, his account said he owed more than $710. Elbert - a 65-year-old retiree living alone - didn't see how he could have possibly used what he said amounted to more than 108,000 gallons of water in one month.
Who doesn't hate the water department.
ReplyDeleteThis old negro sure does like to sue the city. I hope he wins, he can buy a lot of crack and Colt.45 malt liquor.
ReplyDeleteSorry, I just can't sympathize with anybody who does not even have a yacht.
ReplyDeleteI'm rootin for this guy ! I hope he wins. There is some shady shit going on down there at the water department.
ReplyDeleteBet that dude got that shirt at Harold Penner's....
ReplyDeleteSince Burns and Mac is over charging customers an exorbitant monthly water bill they have already garnered the funds necessary to allow them to build the new airport for $2 billion.
ReplyDeleteThe Kansas City Water Department is EXTORTION. There should be a Class Action lawsuit. Kansas City Attorney's where are you.
