The former Sprint executive and founder of the Sprint Accelerator teased plans Tuesday for a collaborative innovation district that could bridge societal gaps and further develop community in the startup ecosystem.

No timeline identified for Crossroads building collapse cleanup
Three days after a building collapse in the Crossroads Arts District, authorities have still not identified a timeline for cleanup. A building partially collapsed on the northeast corner of E. 18 th St. and Locust St., early Saturday morning. Crews have blocked off street lanes and parking spaces around the building.

Breaking News Hundreds of birds could be spared due to a study looking to reduce the number of bird window strikes at Johnson County Community College. Krystal Anton launched a year long research study to find the reasons and places where birds were striking the most, after the recycling and waste minimizarion coordinator noticed hundreds of birds dying from striking the reflective windows on campus.

Chiefs game against Bengals flexed to Sunday night
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City Chiefs will play two straight weeks on Sunday Night Football. The league announced Tuesday morning that the Chiefs game on Sunday, Oct. 21, against the Cincinnati Bengals will now be played on Sunday Night Football. The news was first reported by ESPN NFL reporter Adam Schefter.
