TKC TOLD YOU SO!!! FORMER JACKSON COUNTY EXEC MIKE SANDERS CONFRONTS HARD TIME!!! INSIDER: SHOULD OTHER KANSAS CITY POLITICOS WORRY?!?!
We talk about this high-profile upcoming sentencing and before the recent elections and today the upcoming Sept. 19th sentencing is news fact . . .
KMBZ: Former Jackson County Exec Mike Sanders faces 5 years and $250K fine
Deets:
"Sanders pled guilty in December to misusing thousands of dollars of campaign money for personal expenses.
"Prosecutors are expected to request that Sanders pay $40,000 in restitution, on top of any fine."
Even better . . .
AN EXCLUSIVE TKC INSIDER OFFERS PERSPECTIVE ON HOW THIS SENTENCING MIGHT IMPACT AND WORRY MORE LOCAL POLITICOS AMID ELECTION SEASON!!!
Here's the word . . .
"These were all private dollars and none off it relates to any official act or action within the courthouse, the government or taxpayer money. There are many left scratching their heads as to how this issue was even pursued as a federal crime when many people, for example like a former local governor and speaker of the house, have recently done far worse with their campaign money and escaped even an investigation. This case represents a possible sea-change in how low the bar may now be for the feds to go after local officials, but the next council and mayor ought to be thinking very hard about those all-expense paid junkets to Europe and around the world to "study" transit and commerce."
You decide . . .
Absolutely agree that what they got Mike for was minimal when you think at some of the major kickbacks that are going on in open view. A real house cleaning at jackson county is still in order.
ReplyDeleteI think the truck the county is currently paying for deserves some investigation as well.
DeleteUm, they just canceled and basically fixed the Democrat Sheriff's election in Jackson County. Either the leadership are really slow learners or they really don't care about possible consequences.
DeleteSanders will not cooperate and will pay the price.
ReplyDeleteWrist slap. He'll be home and handling cases in 12 months!
ReplyDelete$250,000!
ReplyDeleteHow's Frank going to pay his mortgage?
The parliament of whores.
I hope Sly gets sent to prison for a very long time.
ReplyDeletethere needs to be an investigation of the frank white administration. the "insider" quote in this post hints that he really knows what's going on. Some of the money transfers for combat were not kosher and they must be examined if we literally have politicians looting the till of anti crime money, that is corruption at its worst.
ReplyDeleteThe feds are great at finding and prosecuting corruption in flyover country, but apparently are blind to their own corruption in Washington DC. Who is there to guard us from our guardians?
ReplyDeleteLuanne Ridgeway and Gene Owen have to be shitting themselves up in Liberty!
ReplyDeleteJUSTICE TIME!
Mike could get 5 years but KCMO criminals are released on no bond. Go figure that one out.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteDemocrats be scammin'
I’d love to watch the sentencing. Where do we go and when?
ReplyDeleteSo Sanders won't roll. Let's hope the investigations continue into Frank and Caleb's shady dealings.
ReplyDeleteRegarding Clay County, it's all commissioners that will go down. Your biased response will confirm your blindness and low IQ.
ReplyDeleteIf he doesn't live up to the name "Skippy" these politicians are gonna' be sweating bullets.
ReplyDeleteI agree with 4:32. This is just a drop in the bucket compared to what Pearly Frank White, Baby Caleb and Stinky Sly deserve. If there is any justice or integrity, the audits in JaCoMo will continue.
ReplyDeleteIMHO, Mikey has been busy spilling the frijoles since his guilty plea.
ReplyDeleteThere are flagrant failures to prosecute going way back with Federal implications that would have put him on FBI radar.
A Jerry Nolte, Clay County backer intimately involved with Mikey. Check Star database on early Nolte contributors.
Probation all the way. 5-10 years probation and restitution.
ReplyDeleteWe have a very special party in place here for Mike when he arrives.
ReplyDeleteI believe Mike was a good person when he started at the county. But it's impossible to see so much corruption day after day and not have it take a toll on you. Everybody is stealing hand over fist, all he did was take money that was given to home. It's a tragic story really and such a shame that it happened to an otherwise good man.
ReplyDeleteThe real story is how that pedophile Calvin Williford is not already in prison. Mike's mistake was allowing that guy close to him. Williford is pure evil masked by a nice-guy act.
ReplyDelete^^^^ If his nice guy routine was an act. It didn't work on anybody, only Mike. Mike was the only idiot who trusted Calvin. Everyone else avoided the guy and wouldn't dare call him a friend. Mike brought about his own demise by using Calvin as his right hand man, that is why NO ONE feels sorry for him.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Frank's mortgage? I think there are a lot of questions that need to be asked there, especially about what he got in return for such a convenient bailout.
ReplyDeleteHey 7:15
ReplyDeleteHe was NOT a good person when he started with the county. If he had been this never would have happened. About the time he started law school he became that narcissistic prick who took advantage of a disabled man that he didn't give a f about because he thought he would never get caught. He deserves jail time but I doubt that will happen.
Calvin and Mike. Birds of a feather flock together.
ReplyDelete@ 6:15 and 6:50, if Nolte is as corrupt as you claim, why did he welcome the Audit while the other two have been squealing "unneeded", "waste of money" and similar garbage since the idea first was proposed?
ReplyDeleteRemember, if you're trying to put out a Forest Fire, you head to where the smoke is coming from.
Frankie boy will pardon him for a fee!
ReplyDeleteWilliford should burn in hell.
ReplyDelete"These were all private dollars and none off it relates to any official"
ReplyDeleteSo your source is incoherent
Bigger scoop... allegedly tons of money for property taxes, and other financial dealings allegedly going strait to United Missouri bank for decades allegedly with no bids for county biz ness where folks could see.. many political folks who ran for elected office told to bank campaign funds there especially when J b n involved. Allegedly no accountability for all this cash. Folks believe something unsavory here. Ask them at the county if there's a reason for this alleged no bid and where the books on this cash. Where folks can see. mum's the word
