Kansas City Early Primary Election Returns

The numbers are coming in right now and we thought offer just a bit of a tease before the official results and the crying starts . . .

To wit . . .

CHECK THE EARLIEST KANSAS CITY METRO ELECTION CHATTER RIGHT NOW!!! IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO SHARE SILLY PREDICTIONS!!!

Check the local scuttlebutt:

- Gov Colyer is ahead by the thinnest of early margins. Most don't expect that to hold.

- Crystal is down but not out. An interesting sign, evidence of support is nowhere to be seen outside of the corridor . . . But that might be enough!?!?!

- The fight betwixt the half-commie and the MMA Lesbian is down to the wire and there's no place for Jay Sidie to slide in . . . Ewww.

- Support for Merryman against Exec Frank White is surprising among in Midtown . . . Urban core vote will overshadow the trend but expect it to be closer than most expected.

- Question 1 is close but the ground game will have the upper hand and landlords are typically too cheap to pay anybody to help their cause.

- Look for even more Jackson County surprises given that The Star gave up on covering this local government dumpster fire.

- Right To Work push back ruled Kansas City streets today . . . Locally, the measure union effort should earn immense support.

Now . . .

    1. Crystal needs to start cleaning out her office. Now.

    2. I thought it was strange the Star didn't make any endorsements in Jackson County either. Guess Hendricks decided to phone it in and Mary Sanchez wasn't around to help her friend Crystal.

  2. it's time to close down the courthouse and the jail. Just a liability for taxpayers. The Feds should step in and cancel it, send the taxing duties to the state.

  3. 3rd district: Sidie finishes last.

  4. Save your Sidie yard signs, please, for 2020.

  5. 8:31 after forte goes to jail for stealing from the county, he’ll get the job of cleaning the jail!

    For 2-4 years!

    Bwahahahaha!

  6. Prop a is going down in 🔥 nobody thought this was passing anyway.

Now let’s see just how dumb killa shitty voters are on the rental inspections

  7. Buy a house guys because renting is about to get more expensive...or the more likely effect is more people will flock to the Kansas side and and the MO tax base will go down.

  9. Here's a prediction. Much crying by the snowflakes here about losing right to work to those union boss thugs. A landslide 2 to 1 margin!

How dare those workers want to keep higher wages.

  10. Polling places in Johnson County have ran out of ballots. That is absolutely inexcusable. Who is the Secretary of State in Kansas? Oh, that's right, Kris Kobach. Who is in charge of elections? That's right, Kobach! The same guy who has been ordered by a judge to go back to attorney refresher school. Fucking disgraceful.

  11. I've heard many people say there are good landlords in KCMO. Please print a list of their names and the properties they handle. Then, give them a Gold Star for being honest and fair to their tenants. Should be a short list.

    1. it doesn't pay to rent to poor people in KCMO. Let them move to raytown and grandview!

  12. Johnson County Election Office needs to clean house.

They promised advanced counts posted by 7:30. They missed that by an hour.

10:40pm, they still have released ZERO results from today's voting. The excuse of long lines and waiting for voters to cast ballots before releasing results is a lie and pathetic. The rest of the state has substantial voting results already reported.

If they are still waiting for voters to cast ballots, Kobach finally has some voter fraud to investigate. It's at the office level.

  13. Finally, first partial results just released in Joco.

    10% of precincts now counted.

    Utterly incompetent.
