An upcoming standoff betwixt Exec White and the Legislature follows the same deadlocked Courthouse script we've seen for about a year.

To be fair, giving the voters the final say on this might be the right thing to do. Sadly, given the sketchy vote for the Democratic Sheriff nominee, Exec White has found success when the electorate is removed from the process.

ReplyDeleteWhat's worse is that he tried to oust a lot of the incumbents who won their races like Tarwater and Burnett and that will make life even harder for him going forward.
Frank definitely needs to have his powers limited by the legislature. The legislature should get the county government under control before considering a pay raise.
