Mike Bates was a longtime reader of TKC and an integral part of City Hall history in the modern era.
Today, his CELEBRATION OF LIFE was attended by more than 200 of the top ranking power brokers in all of Kansas City and so we would be remiss if we didn't mark the occasion.
Accordingly, we're offering a look at his memorial program for some of the most engaged denizens of our local discourse.
