Longstanding local trash complaints from our blog community along with a bit of context . . . Checkit:
"The residents of Brookside are furious that their trash, like the northland’s has not been picked up.
"This is a basic city service and if City Hall can’t do something as simple and as basic as trash pick up then they should not be in the business of doing anything else.
"Residents are fully remember 2 years ago when trash sat on Brookside streets and not a finger was lifted by council members Scott Taylor or Jolie Justus."

ReplyDeleteThat isn't to excuse the city of doing their job we're paying for them am I right? But i don't want animals or koons getting into the stinking trash and getting it strewn across the yard.
The city is just trying to get Brookside residents ready for the new Section 8 housing planned for Brookside.

ReplyDeleteNo trash pickup is planned by the city just like the lack of maintenance on the airport. Very shortly Team Slie will be proposing another necessary tax to be used for basic city services. When it passes it will be another slush fund for Slie to funnel to the developers.

ReplyDeleteFolks that's when you get your trash and you drive it over to Jolie's or James house or whoever and trow it on their lawn or put it in front of their door.
If you don't know where they live take it downtown and drop it in the street in front of city hall.

ReplyDeleteI had a friend who constantly bitched about his trash pickup in Brookside, but he also refused to put it on the correct street for pickup.
