The renowned and sometimes controversial Kansas City lawman begins his journey into local politics with a decent website and this pitch to voters:
forteforsheriff.com
Description . . .
"Sheriff Forté served as Chief Executive Officer of a major metropolitan police department for 5+ years. He is a result-oriented professional with 31+ years of comprehensive experience in all areas of administrative police affairs, including a proven record of leadership; suppression of crimes through community partnerships utilizing crime prevention strategies; national recognition for successful risk management initiatives; effective management of civil unrest in Kansas City, Missouri, during tumultuous times; and recognition for outstanding community engagement efforts.
"Sheriff Forté has demonstrated the ability to build and maintain relationships and has a history of valuing diversity. He's responded to 800+ homicides during career to support police personnel and consistently displays concern for victims and families."

What are his views on unsolicited bulk email?
ReplyDeleteHe’s worthless
ReplyDeleteHe’s worthless
ReplyDeleteIs campaigning billable as overtime?
ReplyDeleteHe has picked up right where he left off at KCPD. No one ever sees him at JACO but boy are they going to pay the price $$$$. He will run it into the ground just like he did at PD.
DeleteIs there a white candidate?
ReplyDelete800+ homicide scenes. And the tax payers were charged 4 hours overtime (call back) so he could send out a tweet. 3200 hours overtime at 6 figures annually.
ReplyDeleteNotice the website pimp does not mention "fiscally responsible."
The Sheriff will be reelected resoundingly. You beeches need to stop whining.
ReplyDeleteIs anyone qualified running?
ReplyDeleteYes there is a great candidate running against Forte.
Delete6:53 His scam to collect a half million in comp time as KCPD isn't whining it's just stating a fact. It used to be voters used to give a damn about that kind of thing. Now voters eat crap from supposed "public servants" and then ask for more.
ReplyDeleteMake sure you vote and not for him, he can’t be elected if you actually go vote for a real candidate.
ReplyDeleteWhat exactly is his platform besides being black?
He hasn’t done anything so far and he’s counting on his black people to vote him in.
He hasn’t been to work much just like when he was at KCPD and all the while he’s getting paid to be at work, he rides his motorcycle a lot, and I mean a lot.
Will he let Erotic City resume the fun from the good 'ol days?
ReplyDeleteSo much for Law School I guess.
ReplyDeleteHe should not be reelected.
ReplyDeleteHe wasn't elected .
ReplyDeleteHas KC and Jackson county not paid attention to the difference in the crime and murder rate with and without Forte at the helm in KCMO?
ReplyDeleteWith Forte - Extra high murder rate. Without Forte high murder rate.
Save lives...vote for results. Not Forte.
What happened at LAW school, wrong coloring books?
ReplyDeleteForte has a "history of valuing diversity", and that's good........right ? Because...diversity..is....our strength.....right ? Like on...TV....right ?
ReplyDeleteFortes mission statement..
ReplyDeleteTO MAKE JACKSON COUNTY AS SAFE AS I DID KANSAS CITY..
@ 653 Nailed it! The jaxco legislature needs an ironclad contract with this fool. NO OVERTIME as he could have been a firefighter as he knows how to scam OT hours better than anyone. I hope the JAXCO officer that was up for this position when sheriff hands on resigned runs and gets elected.
ReplyDeleteHe is seeking this position as he knows it can be a job for life.
ReplyDeleteJackson County voters have time and time again proven how they will never vote out the bad while voting the bad to stay in office.
Just this once I'd like to see the voters of Jackson County prove me wrong.
Fort said in a TV interview that he prefers to be called "Chief", rather than "Sheriff", I think that's because he know how to spell "Chief"!
ReplyDeleteNo it is because it rhymes with Thief. He is the Chief Theif.
DeleteAnd of course the City Hall Trolls haven't yet explained to us how Councilwoman Loar is keeping the Sheriff from solving all of the County's Crime Problems.
ReplyDeleteShe’s a drunk
DeleteI saw the sheriff's Next Door Dot Com snitch site. Has anybody read the NYT story on KCMO this morning? I really hope those snitching folks are using a sock puppet when they brag about their snitch jacket? Just sayin' , stay safe, we're all colonizers.
ReplyDeleteSheriff Fartee
ReplyDelete1:03 I don't care what anyone says that was funny as hell.
ReplyDeleteTroll Sighting!
ReplyDeleteAnd at 4:36pm Long hours at 12th & Oak.
Voters need to quit recycling the same failing officials, new people and new ideas are the future. Forte has been around to long in the Corruption of KCMO and now tied to corruption in JCMO. SKUNKS DO NOT CHANGE THIER STRIPE.
