Final Housing Meeting Set For June 18

The last meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 18 at the Second Presbyterian Church, 318 East 55th St. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. Five other meetings have already been held in south Kansas City, southeast Kansas City, the Historic Northeast, north of the river and on the city’s westside.

“We have received excellent citizen input during our initial meetings,” said John A. Wood, assistant city manager and director of the city’s Neighborhoods and Housing Services Department (NHSD). “A variety of topics, including the need for more affordable housing, have been discussed.”
