Overland Park Council Contender Gina Burke Features Cringe-worthy Texting Drama With Terry Goodman On Her Campaign Website

Overland Park Council Candidate Gina Burke: Please Stop Texting Me - My Experience With Councilman Terry Goodman
Money line . . .
"Please stop texting me."
Those are never the words a candidate for office dreams of ever having to send their opponent. Yet, that’s exactly what I had to do earlier this summer in response to a barrage of messages from my opponent, Terry Goodman.
It wasn’t just text messages, either. Shortly after I filed, he also called me repeatedly, made a visit to my house, and even took me out for breakfast with another councilman and suggested I should follow his recommendations instead of running against him. The text messages were interspersed in between, and I finally had to tell him to stop."
Sad thing about this story is that there wasn't much push back and it's overall pretty CRINGE-Y even for a Golden Ghetto power play. Will it work?
You decide . . .
Poor little victim. Lets hope she doesn't get elected. You know where things will go with this ding-a-ling.
ReplyDeleteEveryone is entitled to their opinions but I have the privledge of knowing Ms. Burke in a professional manner and she is a classy, sophisticated individual with exceptional work ethic. She'll do the city of OP proud. Everyone should give her a chance to prove herself.
