TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY URBAN CORE ACTIVISTS SUSPECT LOCAL RACE RELATIONS WILL WORSEN WITH NEW KCPD CHIEF!!!
Looking for reactions regarding the new KCPD Chief amid widespread complaints that the selection process was rigged. Local African-American leaders and most other activist denizens are noticeably silent.
However upon the selection of Maj. Smith for the top cop job . . .
LOOK CLOSELY ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND NOTICE KANSAS CITY ACTIVISTS ARE SKEPTICAL OF THE NEW CHIEF AND HIS ABILITY TO CONNECT WITH KANSAS CITY'S BLACK COMMUNITY!!!
Here's just a bit of testimony that's worth consideration . . .
"While still working as a Major, the new KCPD Chief told a room full of high school students, their teachers and me, just a few months ago, that KCPD doesn't have any problems with race issues like those other departments. What actually happened was later, as he was talking, he casually said, "I don't know if any of you have ever been pulled over.. " and all the Black students raised their hands while most of the white students didn't. I don't think he meant for that to happen. It was obvious to us... I'm unsure if he noticed."
And so . . .
TKC FIRST: THE NEW KCPD CHIEF IS ALREADY CONFRONTED WITH URBAN CORE RESISTANCE BEFORE HE OFFICIALLY TAKES OFFICE AS LEADERS LOOK TO SEE HOW IF HE'LL WORK TO UNIFY KANSAS CITY!!!
Developing . . .
Have to wait to judge on this one, wait to see his support staff. Communications officer or any changes in PIO.
ReplyDeleteThat'll be the real tell.
Because the hood rats won't be getting they're way any more!
ReplyDeleteMaybe the black community should connect with him?
ReplyDeleteHe is the police chief. His job isn't to unity the city under a rainbow umbrella and pass out daffodils. His job is to motivate his department to protect the city. Hold his officers accountable for their failures and help reduce crime. His job should be to ensure the entire city is safe, and not to kiss the ass of the grifters with their hands out.
ReplyDelete^^^ Mostly agree with that. BUT, making enemies or showing hostility is not a wise strategy either.
ReplyDeleteThat's a good point to remind the blacks, it's his job to get thugs and murderers off the streets. The blacks in the hood constantly complain about the crime and that the police aren't doing enough but yet when they do they get chastised for doing their jobs. You can't do anything right for these people
ReplyDeleteHe will have to distance himself from the unions if he really wants to lead all of kc.
ReplyDeleteUnions?
ReplyDeleteForte didn't do shit for race relations , violent crime or morale. He merely lined his pockets, banged a few subordinates and took care of a few spineless commander buddys.
ReplyDelete^^^ Unfortunately he left the dept. in far worse condition than when he inherited the job. Sad.
Delete@7:44pm hits the nail on the head.
ReplyDeleteBut in KCMO the inmates have been running the asylum for so long that their upside-down way of looking at who is responsible for what will be really hard to change.
One of the first actions he should take is to have objective third-party audits of all the taxpayer-funded "anti-crime" nonprofits and redirect those funds to much more effective and accountable activities like hiring more officers.
And any change is going to take the full support of Sly and the gang and the Police Board, which will require all of them to discover some spine where precious little has existed in the past. In fact, cowardice in the face of the usual east side suspects is the weakest link by far in any hope of a turnaround of violence in KCMO.
The track record of the past few years certainly doesn't offer much hope.
How will he reach out to whites?
ReplyDeleteWhite guys are going to make statements like this that reflect their own experiences and aren't necessarily reflective of what a black officer experiences. However, that doesn't make him incapable of performing his duty. Having had the pleasure of interacting with "Major" Smith on numerous past occasions, I believe the urban core will like his approach to policing. I encourage folks to learn more about Gina English, a KCPD employee whom Smith helped bring to the department from NoVA. She's doing important work.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't care less about his race relations. I would like to see some crimes solved for a change and the chickenshit culture of the KCPD change.
ReplyDeleteActually, the black community gets no say in this whole thing. Who is responsible for the majority of the violent crime? We have a bad ass crime problem, we need some bad ass cops to deal with it and race relations be damned. How about do a better job of raising your children to be civilized?
ReplyDeleteWe just had a black chief for what? 5 or 6 years. Crime rate in the black neighborhoods is over the top. These people remind me of a bunch of spoiled children. I hope this new chief concentrates on public safety which is what we damn pay him to do, not kissmthe asses of a bunch of ignorant crybabies.
ReplyDelete8:49 is right, why kiss the asses of the sucm bag blacks who are the problem. Build more prisons, pull more of them over, lock more of them up. Blacks commit crimes at a large rate. They commit almost 60 per cent of the murders and t=hey are only 12 percent of the population. I am so sick of hearing about being pulled over. The reason they get pulled over, is they are committing crimes. They suck so bad. I hate them.
ReplyDeleteAnd beat and shoot more of them
DeleteThe single most effective thing we could do to reduce crime? Get that stupid cunt Jean Petersucker Baker the fuck out of office. Jesus Fucking Christ, she is the worst prosecutor ever
ReplyDeleteTony, might you do me a favor? Put a photo of the the boring white candidate we've never heard from, next to Don Knotts as Barney Fife.
ReplyDeleteJust sayin. Smiling just a little too hard.
Creepy. Insecure. I give him two years at best. Kinda like KCMO school superintendents.
I'm still for Sheriff Mike Sharp.
Tracy, you are the sexiest, most beautiful woman ever.
DeleteShe's also delusional. I've never seen more name dropping from someone most people who are really "in the know" have never heard of.
Delete"Smiling just a little too hard"...?!
DeleteWhat about your pic? Buster Brown wants his pageboy back. Sally Jesse says "owls" are so yesterday. And, piss yellow under that pale face ain't pretty.
Tracy you are just giving Sharp some free publicity cause he let you fill in as a fluffer at one of his Lake Jacomo gang bangs.
ReplyDeleteno, havent made that scene. i just think he knows law enforcement and budgets and management.
ReplyDeleteAnd several sexual harassment lawsuit settlements......
Deleteleadership from the top down is needed.
ReplyDeleteputting all the burden on the police chief won't work.
not sure about the way the guy looks.
ReplyDeleteHe's white at least
DeleteI agree, that's a big plus. I do think his head is out of proportion with his uniform though. It's like this tiny head on a hulking body.
DeleteForte's Five O'clock always looked dirtbag, so let's wait and see what we get this go 'round.
Delete
ReplyDeletedemocrats waving the Race Card...again!
Democrims=stuck on stupid
DeleteHis job is not race relations. His first job is to replace the 90% chickenshit worthless policemen with good policemen. This will take a while.
ReplyDeleteJust give the new Chief a chance ! He hasty experience in all the best areas that matter to KILLA CITY , the metrosexual DOUCHEBAG pieces of shit inner city community organizer BITCHES are going to obstruct , protest an KILLAthe normal American human beings in our resist anything that the new Chief wants to do , fuck them and arrest the Boyz CHIMP bangers inner city youth scholar's hood rats that want to hurt us ¡!¡!
ReplyDeleteWant to know what the problem is? Blacks haven't even given him a chance because he is white! Already talking that relations will worsen and he hasn't even taken over. But when it's a black man in charge gotta give him a chance no matter how many failures he has had. Obama, sly, forte...open your minds and maybe you will see who the problem in this country really is.
ReplyDelete"...LEADERS LOOK TO SEE HOW IF [sic] HE'LL WORK TO UNIFY KANSAS CITY." That should read: "RACE BAITERS LOOK TO SEE HOW IF [sic] HE'LL DANCE TO THEIR TUNE." If Chief Smith doesn't start hopping all over the place every time the unelected, totally self appointed "leaders" say frog, they will be on him like brown on rice.
ReplyDeleteSlys little sacrifice to his boon bros in KC. "Selection Process" my ass.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't confident of Smith throughout this selection process, the picture alone... it's just OTT strange. However, now that Bryan Stadler, Esquire (seriously how pretentious can liberals get), has put his full support behind him, I now know that M. Smith is a progressive political hack. I'll predict now he too will line his pockets for a couple of years and retire, with no substantial, or even noticeable, change in the rate of crime in KCMO.
ReplyDeleteIt was rigged. need a yes man.
