A reminder and work at solutions for a low turnout local Democracy . . .

Election Day is April 4 in KCMO. We'll offer free rides on KCATA buses to get you to the polls.

Still, they've tried this before and turnout still hovers at less than 10 percent of all registered voters.

  2. The really sad thing is that most of the folks who take the free bus to the polls will never see any benefit whatsoever from their property taxes being raised for decades and the almost one billion dollars spent.
Or, in the case of the east side issue, increased sales tax on everything they buy.
They're duped and used time after time after time.
    Want to see it again?

  4. 7:31 I'll tell you what the problem is BURR HEAD. The problem is, you people are going to ride the bus all day for free on my dime, and how many of you will actually get out and vote?? And if you do vote you will follow the leader instead of knowing what you are voting for. Geez you people are so easily manipulated just like what LBJ did to you.

But understand this BURR HEAD, if this bond passes and there is a tax flight kinda like the white flight don't you dare move to the burbs with the rest of us.

  6. Isn't it amazing that National Shoplifting Day and free bus rides fall on the same day?
