  2. For what it's worth, state law requires Kansas liquor store owners to live in state so there are many more small businesses and those taxes stay in state. Get rid of the law and the Wal Marts, HyVee, etc crush the small business owners along with the jobs they provide. Also if you know anything about beer most 5.0 beer is actually about 3.6 or 3.7 so the difference between that and 3.2 beer is negligible. 5.0 means not to exceed 5.0, there is no lower limit.

  3. So ages ago, the Kansas legislature decided that liquor stores could sell liquor and no other businesses would be allowed retail sales of liquor. People decided to invest in liquor stores to sell liquor; some small mom and pop and others larger enterprises. Now grocery stores (what about drug stores like in Missouri) want to sell liquor in essence putting liquor store owners out of business or in a weakened position to sell out. Well too f*&king bad, screw the grocery stores and their wish list. Next subject
