Kansas City Touts Neighborhood Blight Demolition But Downplays Exceptionally Slow Progress For 10 MILLION BUCK Pricetag
Kansas City demolished 140 dangerous abandoned structures over the past year . . . That sounds great but maybe it's not that impressive given the costly effort is priced at nearly $10 MILLION.
Meanwhile, given the rate of killing for 2016 . . . Correlating neighborhood cleanup and the so-called "Broken Windows Theory" with a reduction in violence hasn't proven correct in Kansas City.
As usual, the weather is the only thing that typically cuts down murders over the past year.
You decide . . .
Which of Sly's Cronies got the $10 Million?
ReplyDeleteTed Anderson.
DeleteHow much did sly get through the back door?
ReplyDelete9,000,000
Delete$71,428.57 per house demolished?
ReplyDeleteDoes that make sense to anyone?
I wonder whose pockets are being lined with that price tag!!!
Heck, in 2017, I'll do the demo for $50,000 each!!!!
Where do I sign on to this gravy train?
