Even Dead Tree Media Seems To Doubt Kansas City $800 Million GO Bond Vote

The paper serves up milquetoast op/ed regarding a City Hall shell game and isn't yet ready to get on board a blank check for City Hall. Here's their take on the subject our blog community has already ripped apart . . . Editorial: $800 million KC bond package deserves your close consideration

  1. "I walked into a General store and couldn't buy anything specific". The proposal lacks anything concrete and sounds like a joke. The biggest screw- over of all was the earnings tax- no one gets the yellow trash bags that were supposed to be provided by the extra one percent STILL BEING COLLECTED TODAY!!!

Until Sly is forced out by the high murder rate or Rex can get the Earnings tax eliminated- I plan to vote no on any tax increase.

  2. another way to read the editorial is that it raises the questions and reasons to vote no.

just like national usa election voters essentially decided to vote to shut down the corrupt, incompetent establishment, KCMO voters should do the same thing on the bond issue: vote no to shut down a dysfunctional establishment and start over.
