CONSERVATIVE JACK CASHILL EXPOSES COZY PROGRESSIVE TIES OF THE NEW KANSAS CITY STAR EDITORIAL BOARD!!!

In his new website funded by the Koch Bros. , Kansas City's most prolific Conservative author shares an important tidbit about the new Kansas City Star editorial board . . .

TKC summary . . .

NEWSFLASH!!! THE NEW KANSAS CITY STAR EDITORIAL BOARD IS JUST AS CONNECTED TO THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY AS THE LAST!!!

Here's a more eloquent explanation . . .

Can New Star Editor Live Down Wikileaks Revelation?

Money line . . .

The Star recruited Colleen McCain Nelson (@colleenmnelson) from the Wall Street Journal. The fact that Nelson is originally from Salina and, we are told, is “a loyal Jayhawk” lent an air of Midwestern moderation to her recruitment. So it must have seemed to Star management, at least until Wikileaks revealed in late October that Nelson was among those reporters who had been favored with a private dinner, chez John Podesta, the Hillary Clinton campaign chairman.

“Hi John – I just wanted to thank you again for your hospitality last night.”

So gushed Ms. Nelson. “You were so kind to open your home to us, and the food was as fantastic as promised (everyone at the White House raves about your dinners). I really appreciated the opportunity to connect with a number of folks from Team Clinton.”

Read the article in its entirety in order to justify joining the social media echo chamber like everyone else and ignoring mainstream op/ed screeds altogether.

You decide . . .

  1. The sentinel is good stuff. You should pick up some freelance work for them TKC. Maybe uncover that Tomi Lahren bikini pictorial that we've all been waiting for!

  2. good expose of the local newspaper being nothing more than opposition media disguised as news!

  3. We know the newspaper is not about good local government any more than good faith journalism seeking the truth.

They think they're tricksters of their local hick market denizens.

It's not a formula that's going to last, however, because of the horrible economics of their business.

They'll end up with high school journalism students doing sports and city hall pr releases,, obituaries, syndicated house and food features, probably in an online format only.

  4. Journalists cozying up with glitterati, politicians and big money has been a growing problem. The White House Correspondents dinner is a glaring example. Most media members sell their souls for a night just to attend and get a chance to mix with the swells.

  5. Ah Jacks working for the Koch Brothers!

    Who'd a thunk it!

Fact is the Koch brothers have the potential to do more damage to this country then Obama did.

  6. Jacks a water boy for the Koch's now?

  7. Cashill is pound for pound the dumbest pundit in this area and that's saying something. He has the intellectual curiosity of an embryo. He doesn't even meet the "broken clock is right twice a day" standard. Get his bitch ass all the way outta here.

  8. Trickle down effect Jack gets paid and Tony gets a few bucks to set aside for retirement.

  9. I didn't vote for Jack Cash-ill and could care less what his opinion is.

  10. It is a pretty sure thing that the same poster has left all of the previous five posts, to make it look like a groundswell of opposition to Jack Cashill. Thanks to Cashill for presenting details of the extent to which at least one prominent member of the new EB is just a typical Obama sycophant. One would expect nothing better from the Star. Whatever the Kochs (and Fox News, Trump and all the leftists' other bogeymen) are paying you, Jack, it's not enough!

  12. I would always presume that any newspaper editorial writers will be liberal, that's just a given. What is objectionable is that they promote the corruption at city hall. Corruption is not a liberal or conservative matter, it's a matter of integrity. Liberals should be just as outraged by what's happening to Kansas City as conservatives.

  13. BREAKING!!! ASTOUNDING!!!

Jack Cashill DECIMATES newly assembled Leftist Kansas City Star editorial board.

Folks! That article is like a flame that initiates the cremation process for the editorial board's lifeless body. Ashes to ashes.

Here's a suggestion: Why doesn't Tony Berg fire all these folks, save Donovan, who remains to curate reader submissions only. Public contributors have much better opinions to share than a stacked deck of partisan Liberals who are still crushed by Hillary Clinton's defeat.

  14. Jack Cashill and Phill Kkkline suck each others dicks.

  15. Star needs to bring back rich-kid Lewie Dikweed!!

Born onto the 1%, he made a career of wailing about "White Privilege".

ALL working class Whites MUST be reminded daily how "privileged" they are.

  16. With the STAR fewer readers it won't be long before the advertiser pull out and there is a fire sale on Grand

The Sentinel is an independent non-profit that relies strictly on contributions from readers to support its work. It has its own board of directors and is not owned or operated by the Koch brothers or any other entity.

The Sentinel board (of which I am a member) respects every American's constitutional right to private free speech and therefore does not disclose the names and addresses of its donors. And comment on who does or does not support The Sentinel is merely speculation.

  20. The KC STAR editorial board is divisive by nature. As long as it exists it will polarize and lose readers. Here is hoping the leaders add more Mary Sanchez types so the readership leaves.

The overwhelming vast majority of Missourians and Kansans votes Trump and could never understand politics from a liberal persuasion.

Look for the print edition of the KC Start to be non-existent within 7 years.

  21. Three to five years it won't exist in the present form. Follow the losses...
