TKC MUST SEE!!! KMBC PREZ SARAH SMITH URGES KANSAS CITY COUNTRY CLUB PLAZA HORSE CARRIAGE RIDE SHUT DOWN!!!
Kansas City animal rights activists earn IMPORTANT support from one of the leading TV stations in metro area.
Here is a game changing editorial:
Sarah Smith, KMBC and KCWE President and General Manager: "Kansas City should follow the lead of other cities by banning horse-drawn carriages. While some say that one incident should not stop the rides, advocates say the time has come.
Horses are sensitive and skittish animals who can become easily spooked even in their natural environments. Add traffic and pedestrians and it's only a matter of time until something tragic happens . . ."
Remember not so long ago a KMBC editorial proved to be the deciding factor in the Schlitterbahn shut down of the deadly Verrückt water slide.
Accordingly, this statement from the local leader marks and EPIC win for critics of the carriage rides.
Developing . . .
Not over yet T, expect a big show of support for the horses on the plaza from people who will make an important case for small business.
ReplyDeleteAre journalists arrogant by nature or is that something they learn in J School? Her opinion on the matter is worth no more than that of the scruffiest bum on the street.
ReplyDeleteF Sarah
ReplyDeleteRubes from Garden City like a carriage ride before returning to local hotels to make BMs of their PF Chang meals.
ReplyDeleteThis activist journalist needs to stick to fake news...
ReplyDeleteScrew her and her opinion...
I think kansas city needs to have a clothing drive for the dumb sloots of kc, you know.. to help out the disgusting. What do you think?

ReplyDeleteimportant post.
it was only on the news what? 2 or 3 days ago?
I always wondered whatever happened to Francis the talking mule. Should of known it became a honcho at that little tv place kmbc. I'm sure Sarah can run things in KC given her vast experience in managing what, 75 people?
ReplyDeleteShe reminds me of all the women in the world you don't want to ever have sex with.
ReplyDeleteNo more channel 9 at my house. Keep your libertarian opinion to yourself.
ReplyDeleteThis is why an exit strategy must be made by every uneducated female at 25 years old.
ReplyDelete@Bob
ReplyDeleteScruffy people who live on the street are worthless? Can you meet me today or tomorrow? How do I get in touch with you?
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone see any irony here that these protesters come out of the woodwork about animals (horse in this case) but where are they when the people are being robbed, beaten and murdered.
Where's sarah smith on those issues.....the same as the rest of the media, "if it bleeds, it leads!!"
Well there is always the wagon ride on the square in Independence.
ReplyDeleteTaking the moral high ground is easy. Running a small business is hard. KMBC should support working people and not protesters.
ReplyDeleteMet a local girl who thinks she’s a “trend setter” and the next Audrey Hepburn/Marilyn Monroe. Good at photo shopping herself. Sez we need more horses on the Plaza!
ReplyDeleteWhy do people keep calling her a girl? She is the president and general manager of the biggest tv station in kc. She has more influence than most people. She is on the right side if history with this editorial.
DeleteAgree. She's not some typical KCMO ho in her 50's clubbing trying to pretend she's 20 and sleeping with anything over 18 every night.
ReplyDelete^^^^^^How do you know that?
ReplyDeleteOutlaw Horses AND You know the rest of the riff raf.
ReplyDelete6:05, read my post again, slower this time, while thinking.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah! Sarah Smith is super influential. She influenced me to switch off KMBC. BTW: If you combined every TV station in KC they wouldn't make a dimple on a gnat's ass up against a major market TV station. This is Hee Haw country when it comes to broadcasting. KC is is the place where they squeeze five minutes of actual news into every hour on the air. They be rockin'
ReplyDeleteDec. 9, 2016 Editorial: Horse flies drawn to the Plaza
ReplyDeleteSarah Smith, KMBC and KCWE Chief Scooper and Stable Manager
Updated: 3:00 PM CST Dec 9, 2016
KANSAS CITY, Mo. —
Horse flies have become a tradition on the Plaza, what with Flush Creek and the recent Intercontinental Hotel blight designation. But a horse, several dogs, and five people were injured on a recent Sunday night biting spree.
Kansas City should follow the lead of other cities by fanning horse flies toward designated zones. While some say that one ugly incident should not stop the flies from landing wherever they wish, advocates say the time has come.
Horse flies are sensitive and skittish insects who can become easily spooked even in their preferred environment on a manure pile. And I should know! Add traffic and pedestrians and it's only a matter of time until something tragic happens.
Help Kansas City take a protective step in controlling these menacing insects by signing my petition... "Fill Plaza Fountains With Manure" Let's show the world that we can coexist!
Let's be like every other city.
ReplyDeleteRight, harmonize Kansas City.
So we nothing unique.
With idiots like her Kansas City will be nothing.
If she is really concerned about events then ban Negros from the Plaza.
ReplyDelete9:07 pm, first off, return the tv you stole from me while raking leaves in the back yard.
ReplyDeleteSecondly, do society a favor and STFU. You are about as stupid as "BOB".
Stupid city people who don't know shit from shinola about horses.
ReplyDeleteSarah obviously didn't get the memo that the public doesn't give a shit about the mainstream media. Go back to your fake news bitch....
ReplyDeleteHate fucking "know it all" animal right people. Horses are to work, not to stand in a field and eat till they look like cows.
ReplyDeleteThe Jackson County Sheriff's Mounted Posse gave a great rebuttal.
