TKC MUST SEE!!! KANSAS CITY TAX FIGHTERS TAKE ON $800 MILLION GO BOND AND DEMAND CITY HALL MAKE A LIST!!!
Important viewing for locals concerned about taxes tonight.
Take a look:
TKC, take a look at this Citizens For Responsible Government interview on the $800,000,000 bond issue for What’s Up Kansas City. We are trying to reach as many taxpaying voters as possible to alert them that we need to insist on the city "MAKING A MEANINGFUL MEASURABLE LIST” of the projects they are considering.
Here's the interview . . .
You decide . . .
I don’t think a list is necessary. We can trust City Hall with our money. Certainly they will want to invest it in streetcar expansion and then raise the water rates again to pay for intrastructure.

ReplyDeleteBlondie Bichon-Frise signed the petition for a new animal shelter when I laid the facts bare to her, doggie-style!!!
Mr. Murphy's intelligence, integrity, and commonsense, clearly have no place in the current cesspool known as the James-Schulte Gang.
ReplyDeleteLets do some early warning yard signs. "NO $800,000,000.00 Blank Check." VOTE NO on Debtors Prison!!
ReplyDelete1,000,000 into 800,000,000.00 means that every man woman and child owes $800.00. I will pay my share when my street is done , the sidewalks and curbs are repaired and the catch basins are clean and functioning.
You don't want to do it that way, Why don;t you trust me? You can trust me, I ain't no Sly type man.
OK, setting limits on how the bond money is spent makes sense -- but this idea of having an election every $20 Million is idiotic. Spending a million or more each year just to hold elections is silly and wasteful. "Town Hall" government does not work outside the size of a village. Shall we all show up at Arrowhead and have a show of hands every time the City needs to pave a road?
ReplyDeleteIf Mr. Murphy wants to run the City, he should run for the Council and do the WORK. Hard, frustrating work. Even if you agree with him on some issues. it is telling that his list of accomplishments does not include getting anything done, just stopping some things.
no blank check.
ReplyDeleteDon't try to reason with a porch-ape. Look at that fat bitch, slobbering and shouting her way to fame and a payday...
ReplyDeleteOnce again, Phil, the KC attorney federally indicted for participating in a mortgage fraud scheme, and son of a slain notorious KC organized crime member, opens his mouth and embarrasses his KCMO Council-member wife "Katy"....forever eliminating any slim hope of rehabilitating her public image.
ReplyDelete$800,000,000.00 NO WAY $800,000,000.00 I wouldn't vote to let the mayor and City Council have 800 million
ReplyDeletegumballs. I wouldn't VOTE to have any more money go to the fools. Didn't any of you hear the Ruckus Panel. They said that it was a bad idea to give 800,000,000.00 to a bunch of fools.
