Love the meme! Stay strong.
ReplyDeleteFelt in a downtown office building.
ReplyDeleteFelt in Nebraska
ReplyDeleteWoke me up. I thought, my neighbors just had very brief and violent morning sex.
ReplyDeleteWhole house was shaking in louisburg kansas
ReplyDeleteGreat photo!
ReplyDeleteFelt in Portland! Nearly knocked over my latte into my eggs and kale muffin!
ReplyDelete@7:23AM...is Nick Manning your neighbor? Or Peter North?
ReplyDeleteBond bridge collapsed.
ReplyDeleteIsle of Capri open and running.
I didn't feel a damn thing. You people are stupid. I, up till now have been here doing paper work since 6:30. There are 12 steel piers under my foundation going to bedrock so if anyone was to feel it would have been me.
ReplyDeleteYou're right. It didn't happen.
DeleteJust woke up. Did something happen? Should I rush to Costco and stock up on diet pepsi?
ReplyDeleteOh Hell! Fred Phelps was right!
ReplyDeleteI think some of you who claimed to have felt it are full of poo poo. So far two people have told me they felt it as much as 20 minutes after it happened.
ReplyDeleteIf your going to lie about it least have looked up the exact time it happened.
This may be the first natural event NOT to knock the streetcar offline.
ReplyDelete8:22 & 9:11: It was definitely felt in Waldo, and my house doesn't have steel piers going all the way to bedrock.
ReplyDeleteI shit you NOT..The Missouri River is flowing backwards !!
ReplyDeleteGO look at it !! un-fucking -real
I live in Grandview and my gf and I both felt it... Nothing violent but my apt building did sway a bit

ReplyDeleteCheck out Tracy's two blog posts--that gal's figured it out again...
ReplyDeleteTracy couldn't figure how to flush the shitter in an outhouse.
ReplyDeleteDo only BLM in an earthquake?
ReplyDeleteBLTsM Always have ,always will
ReplyDeletelets all just face up to it..
i don't understand the problem
they are delicious!!!
Don't mess with Jocopost and Tracy. She runs campaigns for free. Man, she went after Jerry Moran and Brownback and the Kochs and Schlitterbahn today. I don't guess she'll be invited to any free Schlitterbahn picnics for Labor Day weekend...
ReplyDeleteHey, 11:27--
ReplyDeleteI see you down there, typing shit in the shitter. Doesn't that clog your keyboard? Please stay on topic. Don't attack the other commenters if you cannot add to the conversation topic. Just what have you done, today,. to actually SOLVE THE PROBLEM?
At least I researched it, found credible evidence (the 60 minutes piece by Bill Whitaker), and suggested a solution--trucking the waste elsewhere or converting it via desalinization so the former salt water could be emptied into the nearest river.
All you did was tinkle.
I am not a scientist. I am an activist. I work --for fre--to solve problems. I was the first to confirm--to Tony--that the Schlitterbahn Verruckt accident was a decapitation, not a standard little accident. I then suggested why the physics were wrong. Just like today, the physics are wrong about oil and gas production.
Do we as a society have to experience serious death and destruction--when we spot an obvious design flaw? NO!
So get off my case. Now perhaps you are just part of the Schlitterbahn legal and PR defense team. Trolling away. Anonymous cowards. On the clock for Jeff Henry. Like Chief Forte is "on the clock, triple time" for the KCPD, at home when he tweets inanities and homilies and ditties in his spare time. Running up your bill.
Let's solve some problems. I'll be staying home. Waiting for aftershocks. Not going to the Plaza. Not going to buildings with high rise elevators. Not riding the Toy ndTrain this holiday weeke.
^^^^^ Play on your own blog and while you may claim things it do appear you can't even deal with your own HOA.
ReplyDeleteThere I was shagging the life out of my bimbo girlfriend when the earthquake hit. She screamed and I though she was finally having the big event, but no it was mother nature having the bog event. Don't let anyone tell you doing a Johnson County borg is earth shattering.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely felt tremors near KS Speedway...must have been aftershock at 7:20ish...woke me when the antique iron bed frame shook...while the bedside table and the lamp on it vibrated about 15 seconds. After returning from the bathroom, I saw the table had moved over diagonally a couple inches...could tell right away by the clean spots on the wood floor where the table legs had been. Dang, way past time to vac & mop.
ReplyDeleteearthquake rocked clay county detention center. and had damaged another near by building.

ReplyDeleteLol We will rebuild. Hilarious.
ReplyDelete9:46: Whoops! Spoke too soon.
ReplyDeleteBig one coming next week.
ReplyDeleteMy wife and I were almost back on the ground at KCI, returning from an East Coast trip, and we definitely felt the earthquake on our plane!
ReplyDeleteNo kidding, for real.
We also love the new streetcar, voted to continue the 1-percent earnings tax, and our selling our Golden Ghetto digs for a downtown glassbox in the sky!
NASA reported they felt it at the space station.
