"Don't forget that KCMO City Hall has absolutely NO AUTHORITY over the JaxCo jail and they're indemnified against any loss but Team Sly was able to convince Exec White to run across the street at the first sign of trouble instead of working with other elected representatives. It was an amateur move for the Exec and it shows us that there's ALREADY AND ADVERSARIAL RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EXEC FRANK WHITE AND THE LEGISLATURE that's going to get worse."

Remember that any settlement stemming from this hot mess will have to be approved by the Legislature so there's plenty of opportunity for these politicos to stick it to Exec Frank White.
