For the Kansas City overnight and early morning let's check how the better half of this towns plans to kick-off the fall party season.
Here's an expensive theme event for the in-crowd with slightly less expensive prices for the millennials looking to party with the creative class and the cowtown jet set . . .
Quick look at the good life that's out of reach and not so interesting for our blog community of Kansas City political and news obsessed denizens . . .
"Kemper Museum's 2016 Gala is set for Saturday, October 8. This year's theme is Peace, Love, Art — inspired by the decadence and free spirited New York club scene of the 60's and 70's. This hot dance party will be slammin with dy-no-mite live music, amazing food, stellar cocktails, cool-hip chicks and dudes, and YOU!
"Ticket prices are $200 each for general admission and $100 each for guests 35 and under! Visit kemperart.org/gala to conveniently purchase your tickets now!"

Peace, Love, Crabs
ReplyDelete200.00 dollars? General Admission. LOL.
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun! Who's going to take me?
ReplyDeleteSaw a lot of names on the sponsors list that I knew. But didn't see Craig Glazers name anywhere. So much for his bragging about all he does for Kansas City. But you have to give him credit, nobody is as big a liar as he is.
ReplyDeleteFor the unwashed unable to afford tickets there will be a protest pen provided one block away!
ReplyDeleteThey'll have fun and raise a tremendous amount of money. That's what they do...takes True Grit to get it done,so let her buck like Hidalgo.
ReplyDeleteOde to have a Rothschild moment in the name of Art...I got my mask ready. Y tu? Buy lots of tickets you party animals. Poor folks can't come.
