J.Chris Newberg On Fire At Stanfords
J. Chris Newberg got massive attention on his long run with Americas Got Talent. He was the comedy star of the season. Chris had been on the Tonight Show with Jay, co starred with Lewis Black in Surviving the Holidays movie and written and produced "Money Where Your Mouth Is" series. Now he is Hollywood's hot comic and writer/producer for several shows.
The new biggie is 'Separation Anxiety' for one the hot 'three' super star lady comics, Illiza Shlesinger. Illiza won Last Comic Standing, did two series and is now one of the highest paid comedy actress on tv with her smash hit on TBS. Newberg is her writer/producer. Illiza joins our own Nikki Glaser and Amy Schumar as the fearsome threesome.
Chris takes time out to write for Saturday Night Live as he also wrote for David Letterman and American Idol. It's his stand up comedy that people love him for though. He just got back from Asia where and and Russell Peters did huge stadium shows for 20 plus thousand. Now he is in KC for a return to one of the clubs he started in 'Stanfords.' Newberg was an annual headliner at the Legends Stanfords.
"I don't watch porn for the sex, just to see who in my acting class didn't make it," said Newberg on KCTV 5 yesterday morning. Nice. ReplyDeleteO.K I agree with Brad Superdave whoever that is and his hate friends are 'creeps'. I have seen many shows at Stanfords in Westport, Legends and the new club in Overland Park. All very nice, well run, top talent. To constantly attack Craig or Stanfords is the work of 'creeeps' and jealous people. Simple as that. They are a national name. End of the story folks. Yes I am a fan and friend of Craig and Jeff's. Known them for years great guys. Great club.
