TKC TUESDAY EXCLUSIVE QUESTION ANSWERED BY MORE2 ACTIVISTS: HOW CAN YOU CLAIM 'SYSTEMIC RACISM' WHEN KANSAS CITY IS GOVERNED BY AN AFRICAN-AMERICAN MAYOR AND POLICE CHIEF?!?!

Local activist group MORE2 has been stepping up their local activity with massive voter registration plans and ongoing efforts to host conversations about race among Kansas City residents.

Example:

KMBC: Group works to bridge KC's racial divide

One topic that always comes up among our blog community but NEVER gets answered at these kind of "preach to the choir" events is the topic of racism in regard to local leadership.

Moreover . . .

EVEN THE MORE REASONABLE DENIZENS OF OUR BLOG COMMUNITY QUESTION AND ARGUE AGAINST CLAIMS OF "SYSTEMIC RACISM" WHEN BOTH OUR POLICE CHIEF AND MAYOR ARE AFRICAN-AMERICAN . . . AND SO WE ASKED THIS QUESTION TO MORE2 INSIDERS AND THEY OFFERED A SURPRISING ANSWER!!!

Here's the word . . .

MORE2 Insider: "A person can hold public office and uphold or facilitate systemic racism. If it weren't so, don't you believe our nation would be very different?"

Actually, the only thing that has ever unified nations on this planet since the dawn of recorded history is the ability to start and win wars but nobody cares about TKC's pessimistic understanding of The Decline of Western Civilization.

Also, in so many words . . . Is that an accusation that Mayor Sly and the KCPD Chief are racist or have acted to enforce racism???

More to the point . . . From D.C. to Kansas City . . . Even greater diversity at the highest ranking levels doesn't seem to be an answer to ongoing and seemingly never-ending accusations of racism.

Agree or not, it's important to know where people stand and realize that we're not living in "post-racial" America after-all.

In fact, racial divisions throughout the nation and right here in Kansas City seem more pronounced.

The great Kansas City race debate continues amid the very real impact of "The Ferguson Effect" to racial tensions throughout the University of Missouri system and then Midtown Kansas City arguments regarding racial disparity in terms of tax abatement and our divided community . . . And maybe even the fact that this town hasn't seen a Latino councilmember in more than a generation.

The term "systemic racism" might not only apply to cultural logics, practices and policies which have historically worked to oppress minorities but also an exponentially growing industry of consultants, politicians from every demographic and civic organizations who have found a successful niche fighting the legacy of American intolerance for both better and worse thereby creating a new self-perpetuating philosophy predicated upon (like it or not) the preeminence of racial considerations in the popular discourse.

And all of this is why scantily clad hotties are so important to the conversation here at TKC.

You decide . . .

  2. The short way of what you are saying is: An industry of persecution.

  3. Anyone else tired of hearing about Race??? I'd have much more respect for all of these victims if they would just come out and admit they're pissed that they're not white. I say that because the first thing a famous black person does is marry, live next to and act like they're white. I mean look at Michael Jordan, O.J. or the others that run away as fast as they can. Funny how a group that supposedly hates whitey always wants to move in right next door to them.

  4. Oh, the elephant in the room. Blacks upholding the covanent of systemic racism. I'm glad you people finally caught up. A certain somebody has been talking up this conversation for at least the past five years. Sipping tea...

  5. Black lives matter...except when you're a black politician. Then, black lived are subject to the control and rule of another evil-willed black. There now...things are all better.

  6. Just more Degenerate "YOUNG" under 30 Black Racist Punks being Racist with all their silly Bogus bullshit Groups, who are clearly the ones that are Racist !

Have ya' noticed, that since O'bama been in office all these Young Naive Ignorant Clueless "Progressive Young Racists", are pushing their Saul Alinksy Communist / Socialist Bullshit to extremes , and I do mean "YOUNG" heavily influenced 30 and under Black Youth with limited education or poor education !!!

All part of that "Free'loader" Give me Entitlement Socialist Mentality and agenda they were taught to believe in and IF you say anything or speak out and catch them in their Phony Act, they immediately will throw down the BOGUS Pathetic Race Card, because thats all they have and what they been taught to do, only it won't work and its NOT working anymore as more catch on to their Bogus act !!

Whats even stranger is how we do not see or hear any other people of other Races as Racist and upset as the Blacks have been lately, like in the last 3 or 4 years of mostly Young clueless Black Punks that turned to Racism to push their phony pathetic BS agenda of Progressive Socialism / Communism, they actually believe that being a Communist and or a Socialist is good .

Sure hasn't worked in all those other Socialst / Communist 3rd World Countries, where the rulers keep everybody poor, broke and desperate, not what they were taught in school by the Communist / Socialist Degenerate Pathetic LIBERALS !!!!

  7. I am sure this will irritate a lot of people but blacks as a whole are racist and act to enforce racism. Plus the Black Matters Folks, have one hell of a hard time accepting the truth and facts of just about everything.

  9. A shame that this talk continues to this day. We need to get over it and move forward together, people.

  10. There's some scared niggers right there. All because white people are remembering they don't have to live on their knees.

It's a Trump world now. Throughout the nation, the very name of "Trump" is now synonymous with freedom.

Freedom from the tyranny of the other.

Freedom from the submerging of America into a colony of the 3rd world.

"Trump" is now the embodiment of the most precious freedom imaginable: freedom of association, which literally means the freedom to discriminate.

    There's no going back, folks.

    It's started.

The signs are all around us.

The earth will literally shake the moment white people explicitly state what they implicitly know to be true: with one word, the chains fall off.

    Trump.

As as these invisible chains fall to the world, tiny tremors are felt.

  11. Trump will lose to Hillary but no less than 30 points. Sorry dude, it's just simple math.

  12. You're fucking high^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

  13. Ho-hum, more ranting. The low level of the commentators shows they live in fear and without much discernment. If they were not racist, they would have nothing to fear. But then, if they were reasonable, they would be able to cope with people who are not exactly like themselves. Imagine living with people who are not always looking for someone to hate.

  17. One must fully understand that there exists a minority within the Black American demographic which will always claim to be victims.

Most commonly it's described as pervasive societal racial discrimination, as that's an extremely broad net designed to capture a whole list of excuses for why this group has failed.

Commonsense would dictate that anyone truly interested in bettering their station in life would doggedly pursue education, training, etc., whether that be via traditional education paths (high school/college/graduate studies), vocational training, military, or other avenues.

The protest groups like Black Lives Matter are presumably filled with individuals who'd rather make a spectacle of themselves while disrupting law-abiding citizens, rather than go to class, study in the library, apprentice with experts, do work/study, join ROTC, or any other path to excellence.

There's nothing standing in the way of a truly determined person of any race who desires to succeed....except hard work.

Quit complaining, and just get the job done. Show the world how skilled you are by demonstrating your intelligence, work ethic, manners, and perseverance.

  18. There absolutely is systemic racism. I, and many, many people simply do not like, want to associate with, trust, do business with or in any way be around NIGGERS. It's actually quite simple. NIGGERS are shit and most humans instinctively know it.

    ReplyDelete
  19. There is systemic racism like the shit @ 3:45. You just make the point that racism still exists.

My tribe says you black whiners are all racists. We want reparations from you, some of those government jobs you hog among yourselves and our share of free healthcare, EBT money and section 8 housing. You black fucks go live on the reservation and when you change your entitlement attitude let us know.

  21. The BBC report on Systemic Racism in Midtown Kansas was a very real portrait of the racial divide.
BBC exposed Central Hyde Park's wealth and the obvious below poverty existence of the surrounding neighborhoods.
HOAs such as Hyde Park all have a history deep-rooted in past WHITE COVENANTS.
SYSTEMIC RACISM exists today as it did in the 40's & 50's
Gentrification is alive and on the
move ,Armour and Troost being the most obvious(currently).
Many African Americans are being moved out of the Troost Corridor in record numbers. This is fracturing longheld black held precints, silencing their collective voice in our Government.
Systemic Racism shut down black schools in the Hyde Park area , only to be replaced by white entrepreneurs.
Black owned businesses are closing, whites do not support black businesses.
Gentrification, White Covenants disguised as HOAs and Sytemic Racism and African Americans being marginalized and disenfranchised through the loss of voting rights.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Whites do support black businesses just not the Afro-dashiki types. Some people just won't let go of 1959.

  23. 8:12 has real wisdom and facts to back it up. We need more of that in KC.

    ReplyDelete
  24. 8:12 is on target, the Hyde Park homes association is all white, has only had on black rep since the 70's.
Fully supports MAC whose parent company has a long history of Gentrification.
What 812 didn't bring up, is the use of codes(Never ending code complaints on Blacks),law enforcement and property tax increases (CID,STREETCAR, SEWER)
alienation, stopping easy access to public transportation, eminent domain for the good of the neighborhood, utilizing all the cash set aside for investment of the Glover Plan, not giving blacks a voice in their HOA.
The BBC report shows the disparagement black homeowners and the arrogance of white Hyde Park
