More than a dozen Kansas City Subway sandwich shops have been robbed over the past few months and the latest crime was a repeat targeting of the embattled restaurant chain.

A Subway restaurant in the 300 block of East 51st Street was robbed Wednesday, Kansas City police said. The same restaurant, located near the campus of the University of Missouri at Kansas City, was robbed a few weeks ago.
