Take a look at downtown assessments while your at it.
ReplyDeleteThere would be riots if people know what was going on in Toy Train land.
The taking of tax dollars from the citizens and then it being handed over to fat cat ran corporations so that they can improve or be able to survive and stay in business should be illegal tactics by any government.
ReplyDeleteWell said Dave
ReplyDeleteJackson County has an incompetent and corrupt assessment operation, a jail that's under federal investigation, an executive who just resigned under mysterious circumstances and now draws $10K a month as a consultant, and the focus is on a commuter rail line?
ReplyDeleteHow about the elected legislators doing their jobs?
What are they all planning to run for next?
it's a drop in the bucket considering how much we give away to niggers in the form of handouts
ReplyDeleteJesus fuck lets outsource the schools. When is enough going to be enough?
ReplyDeleteFinally!!
ReplyDeleteSomeone affected by these tax giveaways woke up and said "No More!"
How long has this disaster been going on unchecked?
The real problem is that the tax rate on commercial real estate in Jackson County is simply too high. It makes it almost impossible for new property to be economically viable and forces the county to under assess older property so that owners don't simply abandon it.
ReplyDeleteAdded to the problem is every time a TIF is granted rates usually are allowed to rise on the remaining property.
All of Jackson County and KCMO Adminstrative including the KCMO Mayor &Police Chief and Prosecutor Jean Peters Bakers are completely Dysfunctional, and should be immediately removed from public office ASAP, in handcuffs if necessary !!!!
ReplyDeleteAs things work in Jackson County they will raise property taxes in the burbs and use creative accounting to slide the money to the school district. Does anyone know of any good stewards in local government 'cause things seem pretty dam fucked up?
