Take a look at Kansas City's Don Draper impersonator and one of the rising stars of the local media game . . .
HERE'S THE GUIDE TO ALL THINGS JASON GRILL IN A RECENT PERSONAL NOTE SENT TO HIS MANY FANS!!!
Checkit:
Hi! I hope you’re doing good and having a great 2016 so far.
My intention was to send a note out at the beginning of the year to let you know about a new position I have undertaken and some of the other things I have been working on recently. As everyone knows with work tasks, day to day commitments and client matters sometimes it’s hard to step back and put together even a short message like this one.
In any event, I wanted to reach out to you today to update you on my current work and see if I can help you in any way.
Parris Communications
In late summer/early fall of 2015, I joined Parris Communications as Senior Advisor – Public Affairs, Policy and Media. Parris Communications is a full scale, national strategic communications firm based in Kansas City, Mo. At Parris, I focus most of my time working with clients on strategic public affairs, public policy, media relations, media training, public relations and crisis communications matters. I am honored to work with the Parris Communications team and one of Kansas City’s finest minds and civic/charitable leaders in CEO Roshann Parris.
JGrill Media
Over the last 4 years, I have been lucky to work as a consultant for some great startups, businesses, leaders, organizations and foundations, as well as grow my own media (tv, radio, print and online) work and presence through JGrill Media. I look forward to continuing to do this in the future through more media relations, public affairs and government relations consulting and local & national media work involving commentary/analysis.
Grill Nation Show
Since my radio show launched in late 2012 as the Entrepreneur KC Show and now as the Grill Nation Show, we have interviewed nearly 500 thought leaders, entrepreneurs, CEOs, innovators, newsmakers, trendsetters, business and civic icons in Kansas City and throughout the United States. The show airs on Entercom affiliate KMBZ 980AM in Kansas City and kmbz.com, as well as on iTunes every week.
Sock 101
Since the fall of 2012, when Sock 101 presented at 1 Million Cups during Global Entrepreneurship Week at the Kauffman Foundation, it has grown each an every day. It has been a great experience being one of the Co-Founders of this company. Sock 101 exists to enhance the style, appeal, and success of individuals through colorful, yet professional and stylish socks at an affordable price. Sock 101 has a growing ecommerce business, Sock of the Month Club, wholesale/retail options, custom logo and branded sock offerings, as well as a Socks for a Cause charity program which has helped dozens of charities in KC and around the country each and every year. With men’s, women’s, children, athletic and custom socks now being offered, I am very excited about the future of Sock 101. Sock on!
Attorney – Missouri / Kansas
I have been a licensed attorney in Missouri (2004) and Kansas (2005) for over ten years. Working with a broad range of some of the best attorneys in both states has allowed me to continue to grow my other ventures and fulfill obligations, while helped many individuals and clients along the way. Specializing in many different areas including criminal defense, personal injury, startup / entrepreneur issues, technology law, employment law, business law and organization, and litigation matters. If I am unable to help you or your business, I will connect you with the right attorney immediately who can.
I hope this update provides you with the core of my current focuses for 2016.
If I can help you in any way moving forward please let me know.
Thank you for your time, friendship and support throughout the years.
Have a great year and good luck on all your endeavors.
Best –
Jason Grill

ReplyDeleteJason Grill: A Failure To Communicate Effectively
ReplyDeleteYou wrote---"Hi! I hope you’re doing good..." Mr. Grill, you've opened this missive with poor grammar, which doesn't bode well for someone representing himself as a communications expert.
"My intention was to send a note out at the beginning of the year.." You quickly follow the first mistake, with a weak apology, expressing your inability to compose and send out a short note on time. Again, this reinforces to potential clients that you're not to be relied upon, nor trusted.
"In late summer/early fall of 2015, I joined Parris Communications.." Mr. Grill, is your memory so poor that you cannot recall the exact date in which you entered the employment of Parris Communications? And you want me to allow you to represent my business interests? I don't think so. Besides, Roshann Parris is a well-known accolyte of the Clinton organized crime family, and I'm loathe to associate with such people.
As for your JGrill Media and Grill Nation mentions, I'm familiar with your pattern of shameless self-promotion, and see right through the false narrative which you've constructed to fool others. As for Sock 101, your Asian slave labor-made product which is neither inexpensive, nor unique, the whole concept is a sham. Sock 101 has served primarily as your entry into the entrepreneurial circle of business, so that you might further self-promote yourself to the gullible and shallow-minded.
"I have been a licensed attorney in Missouri (2004) and Kansas (2005) for over ten years. Working with a broad range of some of the best attorneys in both states has allowed me to continue to grow my other ventures and fulfill obligations, while helped many individuals and clients along the way. If I am unable to help you or your business, I will connect you with the right attorney immediately who can." Mr. Grill, once again, please proofread your work product before sending it out for consumption. This is atrocious! Your claim to be a specialist in "criminal defense, personal injury, startup / entrepreneur issues, technology law, employment law, business law and organization, and litigation matters" is simply outright lunacy, while leaving you open to false advertising claims, and complaints to the appropriate bar associations!
"If I can help you in any way moving forward please let me know." Well Jason, if you'd like to help my firm move some heavy equipment forward into a new branch office, I can offer you minimum wage.
Between KCMO city hall and hucksters like this guy, Kansas City has to be in the running for the most hyped, shallow, grandiose, and lowest-performing metro in the country.
ReplyDeleteParris is now the Chamber Chair and in the middle of the incestuous self-serving crowd who continue to rape city government with every off-the-wall subsidized idea possible and Grill is just another hanger-on looking for some scraps to fall from the table.
All hat and not a cow in sight.
So can someone explain something? How come this guy, whose got so much going on and is a huge success in all of them, needs to work for someone else at a PR firm?
ReplyDeleteWho is this Grill guy?
ReplyDeleteI like the cut of his jib!
You really used term empire? Hahahaa The guy gets to go to Cuba now he has an empire.hahaha
ReplyDeleteWhats a jib?
