Count Derron Black Among Kansas City's Most Enthusiastic Supporters Of The Bernie Sanders For President Campaign!!!

Derron Black hasn't been this excited about politics in quite some time.

"I see this as a historic opportunity for people to unite behind a candidate who really stands up for Democratic ideals," he says enthusiastically and with a smile on his face. "For me, Bernie Sanders represents someone with an authentic vision for the future of the Democratic Party and that's why I've been talking to so many people about him and sharing my enthusiasm about the Democratic primaries."

Most Kansas City residents might remember Derron Black for interrupting the Mayor in protest over the topic of local economic disparity but the Bernie Sanders campaign for the presidency has offered Mr. Black a more upbeat cause to support.

"Something was calling me to get back out there and stay engaged in the politics that impact my community," Mr. Black said. "I've been impressed with the welcome I've received from locals nvolved with Bernie Sanders. They're just as energetic about this moment as I am."



Recently, Mr. Black has helped to organize events for Sanders' supporters at the Mutual Musicians Foundation and this week he trekked to Iowa to show his support in a caucus that proved incredibly close for the Democratic contender.

Right now, in Kansas City the Sanders campaign for Presidency has proven the most active with Hillary supporters still waiting to officially kick-off their efforts. In the meantime, the momentum for Bernie Sanders has inspired a political comeback for Derron Black.
