This morning we want to focus on a bit of Kansas City Sunday hope amid a drastically rising murder count and increasing local crime.
To wit . . .
Sure, most people are praying to win the lottery that now stands at more than 1 BILLION DOLLARS . . .
But a recent local sign of faith amid fast food burritos is also earning more than a bit of support . . .
A photo of KCPD praying @ Chipotle featured on FB has earned more than 1,000 shares, thousands of likes and hundreds of comments.
Description here . . .
"One of Chief Forté's Twitter followers captured and shared this: A Chipotle customer wanted to pray for our Traffic officers Wednesday. We were so touched."
True, considering a recent outbreak . . . It's a good idea to pray at Chipotle for a variety of reasons including health.
But this effort seemed a bit more sincere.
Here's a link to the original tweet . . .
James on Twitter
Like it or not . . .
This bit of Sunday sentiment shows KCPD still working to win community support and social media helping spread their message to locals lamenting the local murder rate.
Developing . . .
local media report on all kinds of silly fb shit. I wonder why they didn't pick up on this? I guess because it actually mentions God and not sports teams.
ReplyDeletePray you don't get sick eating that Chipotle.
ReplyDelete8:18 is one of the poor persecuted Christians in the US who can relate to all persecuted and marginalized peoples throughout history.
ReplyDeleteIT'S THE WAR AGAINST CHRISTIANITY!!
8:45 you will think so cocksucker if you ever leave America and head of to the Levant.
ReplyDeletePraying is obviously helping. Just look at the murder rate.
ReplyDeleteThe Kansas City Atheist Coalition will finally have an issue to protest.
ReplyDeleteBut they have no position on the shootings, 8;54
Thank you.
Too cold for outside thuggery, so that's why you see this many police congregated anywhere right now.
ReplyDeleteJust remember they don't get Union breaks like everyone else. Or sometimes even lunch breaks
DeletePlease God let me live after eating Chipotle.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate the fact that the officers took a minute to reply to the request of the citizen. It to me shows that officers do care what the public thinks and do care that someone took a minute of their time and wanted to pray for them. Kudos to the officers for regardless of any of their own personal beliefs on religion they honored the request of said citizen.
ReplyDeletePlease God, keep me safe in light of the black plague of crime overtaking Killa City.
ReplyDeleteHelp me avoid nitty heads at all cost's dear Lord. Please protect my sheep from the evil of the West Virginia animal abuser.
Slow news day.
ReplyDeleteHe knelt, squinted his eyes & talked to himself.
ReplyDeleteWhy do people call this "praying"?
Embracing nonsensical belief systems is no way to solve real problems.
+1 Byron. It's nothing but another media spectacle. My prayer is that people live in truth but that will never happen.
ReplyDeleteShut up Stinkhouser you bullshit carries no weight your a proven liar and hater.
ReplyDeleteHow about cleaning up the state you live in before attacking how others live you POS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry "You're: a proven liar even my phone is a hater.
ReplyDeleteThe burrito patrol.
ReplyDeleteByron absolutely prays. That our money keeps showing up every month !

ReplyDeleteAs a blogger, you certainly are a copy and paster. Little to no original thought here whatever.
So it goes.
Hilly & Bernie won't mind when PD unroll the rugs, face Mecca and doggie style for Allah wherever they want. Yep, Christians are satired, sued and demonized ever more. "In God We Trust", but "KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT"...what the hell???
ReplyDeleteFile this one under propoganda.com
ReplyDeletePeople are praying in fucking taco joints?
ReplyDeleteWhat is it with this town, anyway?
And what is your belief system Byron? The endless rhetoric of nonsensical liberal politicians. The thought of religion scare you Byron? That your negativity, hate, and lies will send you to hell. Clearly you have no regard for the 1st amendment which means if someone wants to pray they have the right to do so and if that offends you tough shit. Side that with the fact you have never offered a solution to the things you bitch about your part of the problem.
ReplyDeleteByron runs away..... He pissed in the wind and got splattered.
ReplyDeleteAll the cops are at a fast food place rather than out fighting crime.
ReplyDeleteWhat are they doing praying for crime to go away?
What a waste of tax dollars.
