TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! MIKE SANDERS STAYS WINNING AMID TALK OF EPIC DEAL WITH POWER PLAYER INDEPENDENCE, MO LAWYER KEN McCLAIN!!!
Right now we want to report FIRST word on the career journey of Former Jackson County Executive Mike Sanders . .
To wit and credit where it's due . . .
JACKSON COUNTY EXEC MIKE SANDERS STAYS WINNING WITH TALK OF AN EPIC NEW LAW FIRM DEAL IN METH TOWN!!!
This is a lot better than slugging it out and starting his own firm.
Background from our KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS . . .
Mike Sanders stays WINNING:
"Word around the legal campfire is starting to leak out that Mike Sanders has inked a deal to work with Ken McClain. This is a huge coup for Sanders as McClain, year-in and year-out, is picked as one of the top 10 litigators/plaintiff's lawyers in North America. Last year alone the guy banked something in the neighborhood of $150 million in legal fees nationwide. Sanders employment deal is set at somewhere near $500k guaranteed. looks like being the former exec has worked out well for him."
Ken McClain has had Jackson County on lock for years and he's the dude who pretty much owns Independence Square amid some objections that have never been able to stop his forward progress . . .
Still, the deal for Mike puts him in league with one of the top lawyers in the nation, probably pays a lot better than the County AND keeps him in control of a lot of what happens at the Courthouse anyhoo . . .
You decide . . .
Mike lands on his feet.
ReplyDeleteHe's like a cat.
Or maybe like a tiger!
The county has always been about real estate.
ReplyDeleteThis should keep Mike in good company. He might even earn Claire' McCaskill money one day.
ReplyDeleteWe need more political operators with private jets.
Looks like the Little Blue contract that Skippy maneuvered to the McClain firm paid off. Nothing like a 600k contract to start the day. Hey Ken, watch out your friends at the Feds know all about this.
ReplyDeleteGuess this proves poop floats
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone thinks its true that there are certain easatern Jackson county lawyers who get better deals than other lawyers?
ReplyDeleteYou better believe it! Primary example....Dennis Wait! The county legislator that uses his elected position to get special treatment and deals for his clients from the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office. He manages and approves the budget for that office. Can anyone tell me that this is not a conflict of interest or quid pro quo? Absolutely ridiculous.
DeleteI see a lot of jealous people here, but frankly I think Mike made the right move!
ReplyDeleteThere is no future being a career politician, look at Charles Wheeler. You end up used up and broke. Better to make the game pay you.
Well done Mike.

ReplyDeleteThey seem to be saying that if he were a good man, he would be poor ...
10:18 is right on. Don't think McClain wants Sanders for his legal abilities because he has none. One of Sanders last moves as County Executive was to give a $600,000 legal contract from Jackson County to Ken McClain's law firm. Of course McClain owes him to give him an office at his firm.
ReplyDeleteIf you remember, Sanders begged Kin McClain to hire his brother-in-law, Michael Kilgore in exchange for getting McClain county money. Now he is just doing it again for himself. Bunch of eastern jack crooks.
ReplyDeleteGreat, now the feds will know where to find him.
ReplyDeleteMaybe finally The Star will stop praising this crook and start running editorials calling for the feds to bring charges.
ReplyDeleteHe spent all that county money rebuiding that Courthouse in the middle of a square that his new law partner owned most of the property around it? Now he gets $500K. That has to break some law! That is total bullshit.
ReplyDeleteHey Skippy. Now that you are a powerless manic depressive jerk people can really tell you what they think. You are an asshole
ReplyDeleteSo much for wanting to spend more time with his family
ReplyDeleteMcClain & his Mrs., some law partners and other liasons have been dedicated to mentoring future professionals. Law, business, hospitality, and more areas of career and personal development is offered to qualified candidates (often college students and newly degreed). Generous scholarship aid was attained by my nephew (plenty others right along with him) for his success in a business degree completion and for valuable community service. This young man established meaningful connections relevant for a decade now following his start at college. The large law firm provides large funding to aid future successful professionals.
ReplyDeleteThis guy must be made of Teflon.
ReplyDelete^^^^^BULLSHIT
ReplyDeleteSanders will make a nice little paralegal and receptionist at this world class law firm.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, knowing how firms work, $500k as a "guarantee/draw" means the guy is set to make more than double that in incentives and bonuses. Guess we all would have sprinted out of the county for that kind of jack. Just wow. He doesn't just win, he just bought the whole damn game.
ReplyDelete3:37, that sounds like a paid endorsement!
ReplyDeleteFucking amazing. Just last month, every day, day in day out......Skippy "going" to be led from Courthouse in cuffs and shackles. FBI bearing down on Skippy Man.
ReplyDeleteCome to find out the Skipster was on vacation.....probably with Ken McClain.
Skippy's going to jail....Skippy in cuff's.............FBI after Skippy.
Hell, Skippy could blow Mr. Peanut in the middle of the Plaza and there would be no arrest.
What ever happened to McLains lawsuit against the NFL for concussions?
ReplyDeleteSherwood wants to know if you need a legal clerk? His skills include, being a white man's boy, and losing votes.
