Kansas City Serial Killer Construction Site: Building Over The Bob Berdella House

Just a quick look at Kansas City's history of murder . . .

Remember:

Bob Berdella (January 31, 1949 – October 8, 1992) was an American serial killer in Kansas City, Missouri who raped, tortured, and killed at least six men between 1984 and 1987.

Now, thanks to KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS we learn of signs of construction activity from this social media update . . .

Looks like the neighborhood ASSociation has FINALLY decided it was time to let some lucky family to build their new home at 4315 Charlotte!

I REALLY hope that I am the one that gets to tell them that this is the VERY property once inhabited by,,,

BOB BERDELLA!!

And while the site is the location of some of the most horrific crimes in Kansas City history . . . The current uptick in Midtown Kansas City crime might also be another reason that building on this distressed location might not be a good idea.

You decide . . .

  1. I see we're hearing again from the Hyde-Park-is-an-Evil-Empire freak. The HPNA has no say in who builds what where, although some folks might like veto power it just ain't there. (Right, Paul?) As for the history of the lot, what makes anyone think that's not public knowledge? Not everybody believes in ghosts--or evil empires.

  3. Tony, the things you choose to bitch about, and the lengths you go to bitch about them is getting quite comical.

  5. I used to go to his place for dinner. He had the most unusual cuisine. He served this one dish that he called, " hustler giblets ".
It had a unique taste. The sauce was dark red and kept thickening by itself.

Wonder what happened to old Bob?

  6. Berdella was an atheist.

He probably would have joined the Kansas City Atheist Coalition if it had been around.

  7. There was once a cemetery on Westport Road just a short distance west of Pennsylvania in the 1850's. They built right over it. Nobody thinks about ghosts when there is money to be made.

  8. There's tons of ghosts in Westport. They inhabit the bodies of customers and make them do stupid things. OR it could just be the alcohol.

  9. Wasn't Bob, Glazers old boyfriend?

You build a house on that lot and decide to plant a tree and oops, is that a leg bone there I just dug up?

I see we're hearing again from the Hyde-Park-is-an-Evil-Empire freak.
Nope not me (this time) ,HPNA gayboi pompom cheerleader. Rah !Rah !
Here is a little tid bit just give the gayboi something go off on...
Reading Berdella's bio -Did you you know that Bobbie Berdella was also a HPNA board member and neighborhood leader during all this torture/dismembering of these poor white boys....even held meetings at his home. Not one of fellow board members found anything odd over the years. That shit wouldn't happen in a black neighborhood, we'd be asking why do white boys go in ,and dont come out !
The bio said this went on for years. I lived in New Orleans before moving to Armour. I wouldn't challenge a spirit. I read that the builders are already having daily construction problems.
sign me ,HPNA evil empire freak formerly jealous crack ho. (both work 4 me !) Rah ! Rah !!

  11. What??? The Black Revs haven't suggested building a police fort there? Idonbelevit. You mean no interference from policy and baptists? That can't be possible... only black people commit crimes according to Daryle Forte.

  12. We need more Bob Berdellas in the world.

  13. The people in Hyde Park proper are pretentious enough, the ones south of 39th St. are trying to live the dream.

  14. Since most Christians have Pagan Beliefs, & since there are no ghosts, this property should be cheaper than its actual value, & a real bargain for any educated person.

  15. No body gives a shit about The Neighborhood Association, or what this privileged piece of craps think.
No one is joining the HPNA anymore.
They are losing members. All they do is go around turning houses in to codes. Same fat queer and his faghag neighbor trying to force people to join their all white organization. They approached to join when we bought our house on Campbell, then asked if we would be interested in signing a property tax petition. We told them no on both , week later we got several codes letters.
WE JUST MOVED IN , had several codes letters on silly shit.
Codes lady said get used to it,"this is what they do".
Talking to neighbors they said who they were one is our self appointed female neighborhood rep.F them.
interesting story is bob Berdella a true story or an urban legend ?

  16. 10:25: So you admit you're a freak?

11:50: I call bullshit. Many people in Hyde Park are not members and do not have codes called on them. On the other hand many people are members and have codes called on them (like the folks with the clover lawn).

Codes has a way of discouraging non-legitimate calls (by writing violations on those who call in trivial stuff). They don't like to have their coffee breaks interrupted by their jobs, after all. If you got written up, you have violations.

And yes, Bob was a real person. Geraldo Rivera did a special on him and even asked the father of one of his victims, "How does it feel to know your son was discarded in trash bags?" Yep. Bob and Geraldo were both class acts.

  17. Had Bob Berdella lived long enough, he would have participated in unsolicited bulk email.

  19. If someone wants to spend $150K to build a house that will sell for under $100K in a few years the only one who should care is the lender.
