Take a look at a Kansas City political denizen standing up to terrorism to start the new year . . .
MD Alam is well known across the nation for organizing the MILLION MUSLIM MARCH and for some statements about 9/11 that caused controversy.
Now his latest effort hopes to rally locals in a sign of unity . . .
MD Alam: "We are Muslim Americans - we are peace loving, we denounce violence, crime and terrorism. We are against ISIS/ISIL/DAESH. We condemn ISIS. Join with us and let us denounce all type of violence."
The upcoming KC Muslim Peace Rally is one of many local events aimed at not only reassuring the majority community but also going on record against terrorism. For now MD is still nailing down deets of this rally but we'll post more in the near future . . .
Like all local leaders, MD Alam has taken some criticism from time to time but at the end of the day this advocacy against terrorism is something that most people shouldn't have a problem supporting in the aftermath of recent violence.

Good "reassurance" link. Notice how the Tribune has a much more relevant opinion section than our KC based paper. Don't forget that not so long ago these used to be much more competition between the papers. Des Moines also had a great editorial section, too.

as for this effort, I hope the attendance is a lot more than previous marches against crime, terrorism and all the other social ills. Seems like folks are more interested in posting selfies than politics.
This is boring. This whole nigger lives (don't really) matter bowel movement is only the beginning. Just as in gibs me dat, there is no end to niggers wanting special treatment. The end goal in all of this is for niggers to be above the law. To be immune from arrest and prosecution from "da whyte mans legal system".

ReplyDeleteAmerican Muslims have already done more than they are given credit for, not with these kinds of events (which I suppose are necessary to appease the fearful, ignorant), but by providing the authorities with intel on the most radical among them, which is far more important.
