TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! DOWNFALL OF THE EXECUTIVE: $10K CONTRIBUTION BETWIXT TEAM MIKE SANDERS AND REPUBLICAN JACKSON COUNTY LEGISLATOR FUND RAISES EYEBROWS AMONG MISSOURI DEMOCRATS!!!
The fight for position and power in Jackson County continues and RIGHT NOW here's a look at an important bit of information which has sparked interest across the state and is now reported FIRST here on TKC thanks to AWESOME JACKSON COUNTY INSIDERS . . .
Take a look:
That's $10K changing hands . . . Feel free to check our work. On the Missouri Ethics site, go to contributions over $5K for this month and it's clear as day.
But here's the bigger question amid our FIRST REPORTING ABOUT A TEAM SANDERS CAMPAIGN ACCOUNT WORTH $500K . . .
WHY IS THE TEAM FOR A TOP RANKING POLITICO PARTAKING IN A NICE CASH BUMP WITH A REPUBLICAN CAMPAIGN?!?
Legislator Greg Grounds is a good guy but the reality is that he represents GOP encroachment on a traditionally Democratic County which should inspire an adversarial position with no cash trading hands.
This donation is important because it's one of the last documented campaign actions for Team Mike Sanders.
The contribution is perfectly legal but still remains a curious action for such a high ranking figure in Missouri politics who resigned during the Christmas season in the middle-of-the-night.
We don't dare speculate because we're sure that the heart of Mike Sanders is pure, other media aren't asking any questions about this entire political kerfuffle which should erode confidence in local Democracy AND the fight for position amid the demise of a formerly popular politico is now in full swing.
Developing . .
A as a courtesy lot of the county officials lend large donations to each other between elections to expand their war chests to scare off potential opponents. Its a gray are of the law. It should be reported as a loan because the "contribution" is expected back at some point. They never report it as such. Skippy probably owed Grounds money back? You would have to go back through Greg's reports over the past few years to find a similar contribution to Skippy.
ReplyDeleteMr. Tony,
ReplyDeleteYep that is very curious.
More to come!
Any insights into their views on unsolicited bulk e-mail?

ReplyDeleteMike Sanders = Missouri's next governor.
ReplyDeleteHas ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE at governor. None! Hide and watch what comes out in 2016......the county govt will reveal some things that will make you mad/sad that you live in this county.
DeleteSkippy sure gambled wrong on a third term!
ReplyDeleteGreg Grounds is on the County anti crime committee.
ReplyDeleteCombat Commission has an empty seat... 5th district......
Jim Nunnelly was shown the door for ? .
Tindall has a bullshit job with the County.
Here's a thought, as Skippy goes about buying friends I predict an amended MEC report in January 2016.
