Like it or not, our blog community and some of the KICK-ASS Insiders we talk to were FIRST to note that Jackson County Executive Mike Sanders was in trouble . . . He didn't last the year and resigned in the middle-of-the-night like some disgraced clergyman. Mike Sanders abandoned the job voters elected him to do and because local media is so corrupt, they didn't call him on disavowing his post and betraying his oath to voters.

But that's that past, what annoys us about this time of year is that local newsies give up and just publish niceties that don't really matter . . . It's all vauge predictions and tributes to people who died.

Honestly, we're surprised that he he made it this far. There are MANY people who want VanLoh thrown out and renewed talk about airport renovation could finally make council pull the trigger on his tenure.

Neighborhood leaders will soon battle against biz people and this City Hall bureaucrat simply had to keep too many people happy to be effective at his job.  Playing salesman for the new Downtown Convention Hotel Plan didn't help his chances.

Slowly But Surely, Staffers of Former Executive Mike Sanders Are Going To Get Picked Off By Their Longtime Enemies . . . 


There are some good people in this office who did great work but that won't matter when a new regime takes charge. The plan is to keep these staffers employed in order to make a smooth transition but the minions of Mike Sanders who took HUGE pay bumps and perks while the rest of the Courthouse suffered cutbacks now have a target on their back.

OF COURSE, we hope to keep readers apprised of the political carnage to come in 2016 which is a lot more fun than watching the homicide count that makes it clear that most of these elected officials are pretty useless.
