Marijuana is illegal. Being from Colorado, they don't understand this.
ReplyDeleteThis is becoming like immigration with states making their own decisions because the federal government won't lead.
Smoking this must continue to be illegal, because when people smoke it they smile, & sigh. It would be better to put them in prison to protect them from themselves, then to have people walking around artificially contented.
America has been fighting a drug war since the 1960's. After spending billions chasing marihuana alone, stealing people's property and putting petty shit heads in prison the only thing we have proven is that the old U.S.A. can out-do the old Communist Russia any day of the week. Personally I could give a shit if they ever legalize pot, but I do care about sending people to prison and ruining their futures over a recreational vice that near 50 percent of the population has tried and survived just fine.
ReplyDeleteLet the Federal Government get off it's high horse. Issue a ticket, don't make a drug record or drug conviction and lets start recouping the wasted billions. I realized that such a move will save the lives of countless offenders and undercover officers while placing thousands of officers in positions to fight violent crime, but change could be a really good thing here.
