Here's an update on that EPA storm sewer mandate which could cost KCMO 5 BILLION over the long haul.
KCMO Fact of Life . . .
ALMOST EVERY SIGNIFICANT RAIN THIS YEAR HAS CAUSED FLOODING ALONG KANSAS CITY STREETS!!!
While some might blame global warming and changing weather patterns, it's more likely that decades of deferred maintenance are the cause to a problem that persists as City Hall looks to build more toy trains and hotels.
Link on this topic that doesn't really offer much perspective but confirms a longstanding TKC complaint:
Storms caused damage across metro, left some stranded in high water
More in a bit . . .
Fear not friends.....the Toy Train will fix all.

ReplyDeleteNew marketting strategy:
ReplyDeleteHad enough shit KC? Vote yes for our billion dollar sewer renovation project. This will result in your spending $999,000 in convention hotel hook ups and $1,000 restoring our sewer system. No one knows how to handle shit like Kansas City.
You are SO predictable, TKC.
ReplyDeleteTerry Leeds- fix the sewers like you have promised several times before. Your track record is in the sewer.
ReplyDeleteIt only takes one federal judge to stop KCs pet projects until it complies with the law. Sounds like someones ass is dragging.
