Amid our Kansas City early morning adventures we stumbled upon yet another Midtown homicide scene.

EVEN ON LABOR DAY KANSAS CITY DOESN'T TAKE A BREAK FROM MURDER!!!
What we poached from local TV news at the scene too: AT LEAST ONE DEAD a slew of bullets in front of The Point and another injured arriving at a hospital later.
KSHB Follow-up:
"Authorities said The Point Bar at 44th and Belleview in KCMO closed at 3 a.m. As people were leaving, gunshots could be heard in the parking lot. Two Jackson County Sheriff's Department deputies were working off-duty at the bar and found one man dead in a nearby bank parking lot. A second victim showed up at a nearby hospital saying he'd been shot outside the bar."
Official report:
"This morning at approximately 2:45am, officers were called to the 900 blk of West 44 Street (The Point Bar) in regard to a shooting. Upon arrival officers located a victim (b/m mid 20's) suffering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder. He was transported to a local hospital in serious but stable condition. A second shooting victim (b/FEMALE mid 20's) was located in the parking lot with no signs of life. It is believed both victims were shot in the parking lot. There is no suspect description at this time. Anyone with information is urged to call the TIPS Hotline at 816.474.8477."
