Kansas City 18th & Vine Comeback???

Upbeat urban core coverage from Kansas City's alt. weekly is a strange new trend that either signals a departure from low-rent newsie cynicism OR maybe the conventional wisdom has given up on this area in constant need of subsidy and these inquisitive newsies are taking a second look. 1. Funny, I was just listening to jazz last night and the woman singing was belting out 'Going to Kansas City' and the conversation we had after we heard the lyrics "12th Street & Vine" - well, we all agreed that wasnt the spot for us.

  2. Should have known this was a Steve Vockrodt article. Should be titled 'Spin City'. At least we could have had warning and well set expectations.

That will make identifying your assailant much easier.

  7. Popularity could be fueled by hip-hop stars, rappers and other celebrities, some who can do a rap version of Going To Kansas City in promotions on social media.

  9. Why in the world do we continue to pump money into this NIGGER haven?? It's a worthless piece of real estate to begin with and giving the NIGGERS more tax money is not going to change it. By the way, exactly which NIGGERS will eventually walk off with these funds?? Who??

  10. 7:10 while I respect you "heavily armed", may I suggest a thumb drive or I Heart radio for Jazz.

Also U-Haul has a special running. Beautiful time of the year down here at the lake.

All the dipshits are settled into their $3,000 dollar Royals and Chiefs seats and the lake is calm.

Lots of pretty girls are becoming aggressive as their pussies are back to normal size after their summer stretchings.

  11. I don't travel in that area of town I value my life.

I have guns, armored vest and all but I don't place myself in dangerous situations unless I have to and I do that during morning hours when the hood people are passed out from the drugs and alcohol of last nights activities.

Another tip is to go with someone else who is trained in guns to watch your back when going in and out of stores you go into while in those run down and crime ridden neighborhoods in this city.
