ReplyDeleteWhat i see as arrogant are religious nuts that think for a second that marriage licenses are God's invention and not administered by governments. I am not big on the gay cause, but I absolutely hate the idea that a woman thinks she can take $80K paycheck from the government and then redefine her job responsibilities in spite of the oath she took as an elected official.
ReplyDeleteWhat I find more offensive is the government giving religious organizations tax exempt status, as if they are charities, while tax payers are forced to pick up the tab for their churches, housing, schools, colleges, hospitals, publishing, tv and radio stations, music productions, summer camps, bad investments, office supplies, food and more.
Get government out of marriage and take away all government related marriage benefits. Problem solved.
