Any grade of the outgoing City Council would have to include the rising crime rate.
ReplyDeleteOh wait, we are being told that crime is trending down BUT we roared past Atlanta into the nations top 10 in crime.
But then we are a stupid bunch of rubes. We just re-elected our do nothing mayor with 87% of the vote.
Anything the KC Star tells us, ok, we believe in the Star and their editors.
Yeah right. Nobody with half a brain buys anything the fucks at the Star are writing about the City these days. When your ass cheeks are spread as wide as the Star's are, well you know they are whores and ANYTHING coming from the Star is total bullshit.
Council citizens grade : F total FAILURE. What have they accomplished ? A trip to Milan ? The Toy Train ? Less Police ? Less basic services ? Potholes ? Snow removal failure ? Plaza crime ? Westport crime, P&L crime ?
Nope, sorry Star. Your grade, like that of your stock prices, F ! F as in total FAILURE.
I agree with 6:38 and by the way the most horrendous project Circo was involved with was the Soccer Village because she screwed her constituents out of the necessary, needed infrastructural improvements. She lied got public officials to lie and really didn't give a rat's ass about the very people who voted her in. Now matter how big games they put in that soccer field it was paid for by the taxpayers that paid into that TIF plan and had to endure the destruction of a quiet lovely neighborhood. Of course the Star is now giving council good grades they got what they wanted at the taxpayers expense AGAIN. I am sick and tired of paying taxes that are supposed to improve our city streets and infrastructure and the funds are stolen for pet projects that city council deem "necessary".

ReplyDeleteLike engineering, law, medicine and other specialized disciplines, fire science and emergency response requires post secondary studies.
Certifications and licensing for FD placements involves considerable investments, and suitable candidates selected and educated efficiently is responsible use of public funds.
I would expect a glowing review from Yael and the Star instead of the truth. Wouldn't be surprised if the piece was reviewed and approved by City Hall before it went to publication.
