TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY 1ST DISTRICT COUNCIL CANDIDATE HEATHER HALL EARNS EPIC ENDORSEMENT FROM EISENHOWER FAM!!!

Tonight we connect the glorious past of the United States with what could be a new start for the council in Kansas City.

To wit . . .

KANSAS CITY NORTHLAND 1ST DISTRICT COUNCIL CANDIDATE HEATHER HALL EARNS AN IMPORTANT AND EPIC LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION FROM MARY JEAN EISENHOWER!!!

While Ms. Hall recently endured a rough day given some precision KCMO political consultant attacks . . . Bouncing back with a kind word from the kin of one of this nation's greatest leaders -- Dwight D. Eisenhower -- That's a remarkable comeback.

And so, without any further prelude . . . Here's the word:

Endorsement from Mary Eisenhower (General Dwight Eisenhower's granddaughter)

It is a pleasure to endorse and support Ms. Heather Hall for City Council, District 1, Kansas City, Missouri. While I do not directly reside in Kansas City, I own two residential properties there, lived there for 16 years, and am deeply concerned for the health of the greater Kansas City community.

Ms. Hall represents all that’s good about Kansas City, and these great United States. She has a great deal of pride and love for her community and is very active in making it a better place to live, work and go to school.

Heather is a strong family person, with good honorable values, the kind we wish all of our representatives would possess. She is involved in everything from public safety to economic development, not only for the district she lives in but for all of the metro Kansas City area. In addition to her many civic and school involvements, Ms. Hall has also served the philanthropic community of Kansas City, again, ever working to make Kansas City even better.

Ms. Hall’s entire family is dedicated to good citizenry and public service, her husband, Eben, served this wonderful country of ours in Desert Storm with the US Marines and now serves on the Kansas City Police Department. Both deserve our highest respect and appreciation that they would step up to the plate and dedicate the better part of their lives making things better for those around them and in the greater area.

It is my deep hope that you will cast your vote for Heather Hall, our City, State and Country needs many, many more leaders like her.

Most sincerely,
Mary Jean Eisenhower

I like Dick Davis. He is a good man and he has represented the district well.

Hate to agree with T. this one kind of does turn my head.

  3. I LIKE IKE!!

    I LIKE HEATHER!!

I come from a U.S. Marines family. We have high respect for veterans and public safety officers. I run my household in a fiscally conservative manner. I believe Kansas City Missouri needs new leadership.

    I STAND WITH HEATHER HALL!!

  4. Here's what I like about this. Ike is great but what's more important is that Heather isn't taking the abuse of the Mayor's consultants laying down. A lot of people who have been discouraged by what happened to her yesterday. But she picked herself up, dusted herself off and looked for a way to find another endorsement.

KC politics is a rough game, it's a marathon and to compete in it, you have to take a look at the big picture and you have to do work every day. Looks like Heather is off to a great start.

  5. Hall got her job with Clay County (which I heard she wasn't very good at) because her pal Luann Ridgeway created a position for her.

I doubt people are going to rush out and vote for her because of the Eisenhower endorsement.

  6. When asked about the city's economic development position, Hall said the city’s policy has been successful in “some areas.” She did not elaborate. Shouldn't someone who has been campaigning for over a year be able to give a better answer and go into detail?

  7. Mary Eisenhower is such a beautiful lady! What a treasure for Kansas City.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Check it out... Teresa Loar also has May Eisenhowers endorsement.

This lady is superb indead. I believe Mary's son and daughter in law live in KC as well. Very cool!

  9. Will Troynash.com endorsement follow?

  10. Interesting twist

  11. Heather has been fibbing. She is working with Jeff Roe, after denying it many times. Check out her nasty, dishonest mailer today. Freedom PAC paid for it.
Explain this to your kids, Heather. Mom lied for political gain, great lesson.

  12. Big week for Heather, pisses off the chief of police and now this!! Breaking!!!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Ed ford has been telling everyone how teresa was going to gat Hall the Eisenhower endorsement to ensure that Hall is lbeholden to Teresa. Teresa is building her coalition against Sly.

  14. Heather is only one vote, if elected. Not as scary as the Dick Davis camp is picturing her. northlanders, labor and city council / mayor can work with her. Give her a chance.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Dear 9:11.
Why should we give a right wing, Jeff Roe lover, Todd Akin soulmate, Luann Ridgeway BFF, and huge liar a chance? She may only be one vote bot she has ZERO integrity. She has sold out to the lowest of the low. Has she explained " legitimate rape" to her daughter?
I took her sign out of my yard a week ago. She may end up being my council person but she will never have my respect.

  16. Spare me. Ike is rolling in his grave. Keep in mind, President Eisenhower wouldn't be welcome in today's GOP. His granddaughter's endorsement is meaningless to the voters in this election.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Are we seriously looking for semi-, old-school legacy endorsements from dead presidents? This the City council people! I would never use my national allies for a bullshit City council seat. Are you kidding? Overkill, especially considering the voter turnout will be low. This is more name-dropping than political endorsements. Nice to see Heather is friendly with a third generation Eisenhower, whatever that's good for. #deparation

  18. People better get facts straight before posting false information.

If Davis is shown with FF Union Local 42, then Heather isn't working with Roe. Roe is on retainer with 42. If you'll notice correctly, Heather is endorsed by the Fire Chief's Association not the Fire Fighter's Union.

As well, when researching Heather's past you will find she was employed by Clay County prior to Luann becoming Commissioner. Sort of hard to have a job made for you if you were there first.

  19. Mary Eisenhower is truly one of the greats! She is accomplished in her own right with her work at People to People International and Outreach International - truly a KC great.

We are luck to have her in our community.

  20. If hall wants to be a representative of the northland, then why do her phone calls and mailers come from Smithville. A lot of her money comes from MR. TIF Hariis from Liberty, even Harris secretary gave a grand, yah right....

    ReplyDelete
  21. 9:52 her latest trashy mailer was paid for by Freedom PAC. Check out who gives Freedom PAC money. Yeah, you got it - local 42. I guess you better check out who you're supporting. Do you believe in legitimate rape too?

    ReplyDelete
  22. The Ed Ford puppet show just gets sadder and sadder.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I am voting for her. Hope you do too!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Heather is a good candidate, she has my support and I will vote for her on Tuesday. I like @9:52's comment, it's easy to clear up all of these lies with the facts.

Heather is a really nice person and she has been honest in her campaign. That's more than I can say for a lot of other people in this election.

    I like Ike.
It was he who warned us of the military-industrial complex.
It was he who desegregated the military.
It was he who pushed for the interstate highway system, originally called the National Highway Defense System.
It was he who warned us of the big corporations & questioned their patriotism.

  31. Anyone of President Eisenhower's accomplishments would look at the ENTIRE cast of council/mayor candidates and assign them to the motor pool, or more likely peeling potatoes in the galley.
A clown show of wannabees, make-believe developers, panderers, and individuals who wouldn't recognize public service if it hit them beside the head with a two-by-four.
Four more years! Four more years!

  32. @952 then why did Hall quit her job with the County when a sun shine request was submitted? If you look at the current job opening on the county's website it listed as p/t with benefits and salary is $23,000

    ReplyDelete
  33. Oh sure Eisenhower was AWESOME as a president.......used the CIA to overthrow legit govts in Iran, Guatemala.....set up the profit train in Vietnam for the "military industrial complex" he supposedly dispised.

A tremendous general who effectively managed the SHAEF to a win.....he was no different then any other Red hunter once he took office But what the hell, we have a wonderful highway system.

  36. I STILL can't figure out whom Local 42 Firefighter scammers are endorsing --(to vote the opposite) --any links, anyone?

I saw the "Chiefs" endorse Hall -- Louis Wright going with Davis..

  37. Didn't Ike also give us the nazi-sympathizing Dulles brothers?

    ReplyDelete
  38. This election is simple
Vote Davis if you want Sly's lap dog
Vote Hall if you want to try and save some of your money.

My money's on Hall, to many hands in my pocket.

    ReplyDelete
  39. A long dead president's grand kid gives an endorsement. Wow, very impressive! Who's Jenna Bush supporting? That's who'll get my vote!

  46. Heather Hall. PTA, HOA volunteer, Clay County commissioner party planner, paid staff for Todd (legitimate rape) Akin, wife of a policeman. Not very well qualified to stand up for the Nortkand. Vote for Dick Davis!
