Firefighters prefer Katy . . . She's their gal but they're afraid to champion her too proudly since they've been on a losing streak amid this silly season.
Latinos like Council Dude Glover . . . He's the last of the old guard who actually gave Latino leadership the time of day. Even now, Hispanic community concerns are denied and ignored by just about every elected official in City Hall including the Mayor and most of the council . . .
NO, YOU HYPOCRITES . . . SHOWING UP @ LA FONDA FOR A COUPLE OF DRINKS DOESN'T COUNT AS ADVOCATING FOR LOCAL LATINOS!!!
Meanwhile . . .
African-American Leadership sides with Shields as well . . . She's the Freedom Inc. candidate and they like her so much that they've even making some of her most impressive campaign signage.
Most of the top lawyers like Council dude Glover . . . Lawyers tend to be a conservative bunch and the incumbent is still the safest bet. They can always kick cash to Katy in the event of an upset but for now the attorney class mostly support their guy Glover.

- The Southland (Frustrated with everyone)
- Hipsters (Liking Katy's lady rhetoric)
- Bill Nigro - He speaks for the Westport Party district and strangely enough, he's gonna be more influential than anybody thinks in this contest . . . Which was why the "dumb card" debate actually earned a bit of progress this year.
