TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! ICONIC KANSAS CITY HORSE STATUE DROPS AND BREAKS DURING TODAY'S J.C. NICHOLS COUNTRY CLUB PLAZA FOUNTAIN RESTORATION!!!
Today a tragic bit of history in Kansas City has been destroyed at the J.C. Nichols Fountain on the Country Club Plaza.
To wit . . .
THE HORSE STATUE @ THE COUNTRY CLUB PLAZA FOUNTAIN WAS IRREPARABLY BROKEN TODAY AS WORKERS WATCHED IT DROP TO THE GROUND FROM MORE THAN 20 FEET AND SHATTER ITS LEGS!!!
Don't take my word for it . . . Amid all of the refurbishment hoopla . . .
Our AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS rushed to the scene and and got this UP CLOSE & PERSONAL PHOTO from of the injured Kansas City pony statue as it was put down onto a tarp and quickly rushed from the scene . . .
Again, we see the history of the Plaza slowly being destroyed as the weather warms up . . . And while no city official was willing to go on record regarding the tragedy . . . Insider tell us that the broken statue isn't that big of a deal given that Kansas City doesn't really have the cash to pay for its fountains anyhoo.
Developing . . .
Classy Kansas City. This is a reflection on pretty must all the people who live, work, and lead in Kansas City. This is always the conclusion no matter what it is. Wanna go out to dinner - get crappy service. Wanna go to preserve history - get crappy service. Wanna get involved in local politics - kiss a lot of @$$ and get crappy leadership. It's that simple folks. Maybe they can place plastic "My Pony" horses there instead. They'd get the same level of respect and much less expensive.
ReplyDeleteWow. Someone needs to get on some Prozac. What a depressing person.
DeleteI great metaphor for Sly's next term.
ReplyDeleteNothing left but a horse's ass
Wtf? This seriously makes my blood boil. This is irreplaceable. No amount of money can replace that piece of Kansas city heritage. They never needed to be pulled out of the fountain in the first place. This was nothing but greed and payouts to friend s of city Hall. This irritates me more than the fucking streetcar.
ReplyDeleteShame on Sly!
ReplyDeleteHe should be held accountable for this kind of nonsense, he should have used union workers and not those hacks he employs to outsource city hall jobs.
Is this for real or is it a April Fools prank?
ReplyDeleteAll of KC is broke and busted, that is for real!
ReplyDeleteSymbolic, if real.
ReplyDeleteKansas City can be repaired unlike that statue.
ReplyDeleteHowever I do agree, it's a symbol of KC that's gone.
Affordable? Quit being a welfare State and pushing Unions and we could afford them!!!!!
April Fool.
ReplyDeleteYou people are idiots. This is just Tony screwing with you again.
ReplyDeleteI heard that it was during a photo op for Sly's moronic mayoral campaign. He hit a wrong lever and the horse dropped. No media present at the time of the incident. But it is on tape because the Burns & Mac media division were doing the campaign filming.
ReplyDeleteFigured that a negroid would be involved in the destruction of a Killa City historic symbol.
ReplyDeleteNever fails......can't have anything nice with Negros around....they will find a way to fuck it up.... Damn.
No, it's the rampant trash mouth racists that are the real problem. They're like a cancer. Just a few can make a big mess.
DeleteI agree--it can be fixed--expert conservators do it all the time.
ReplyDelete5:59 it's obama nigger loving cum swallowing liberals like yourself that are the REAL problem!
ReplyDeleteToday is April fools day....I bring this up only because I haven't found any confirmation on any news sites about this happening.
ReplyDeleteBut, to give TKC credit, he is usually ahead of them....anyone seen any KC news to confirm it??
Why I never use Belger.
ReplyDeleteNeed crane service Call John Haggard Haggard Hauling and Rigging his boys won't mess up your stuff.
The good news is that Mickey Mouse has volunteered to stand in for the horse.
ReplyDeleteNo KC news station or dead tree media have confirmed it. They all report the statute was put in place today but nothing, nothing at all about it being dropped...
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the fountain outside city hall will work on Monday.
ReplyDeleteTotally April Fools. All horses are in tact. Relax people
ReplyDeleteTony, your readers are really DUMB!
ReplyDeleteBet you count on that.
You mean to say that Belger doesn't have insurance to cover this sort of fuck up?? If so, sue their asses for the repairs....
ReplyDeleteincompetent Democrat greedy construction union slobs f-kking up yet ANOTHER jobsite on the Plaza.
ReplyDeleteFinally a perfect site for the long promise Treyvon Martin bronze.
