Sad, the otherwise beautiful "Sexy" Cindy Circo now doesn't have much to offer anybody.
She'll be out of office soon enough and a really despicable bid to push a write-in candidates was easily thwarted.
SOME D-BAGS IMAGINE SEXY CINDY CIRCO AS A POWER BROKER BUT HER PAC UNWISELY SIDED WITH TGR IN A LOSING BID THAT SHOULD DRAW SUSPICION ABOUT HER POLITICAL JUDGEMENT OR LACK THEREOF!!!
Now . . . Kansas City can look forward to a real contest between two honorable men regarding real issues facing the city.
Compared with last term . . . There's still no bad choice in the 5th In-District race and Prosecutor Alissia Canady facing statesman Ken Bacchus.
What's important is that the 5th now has a choice of real representation and not carpetbaggers or their former roomies.

Let's choose the more experienced candidate in times like these!

ReplyDeleteCanady is the lesser of the two evils. I don't like her because she is in the 'legal circle' with Sly and she will probably be a rubber stamp for him. She was also apart of the girl duo - Canady and TGR who was suppose to be a power base on the council. With TGR out, I am not sure how she will (on her own) gain political capital without TGR. I don't get the impression that she is her own woman. Listen to her talk at forums and debates - she always mentions JPB to validate herself.

ReplyDeleteWhile Cindy and Theresa were braiding each others hair and painting their nails, someone said, "Dude, let's do a write in campaign to get even with Barnes for complaining about our residency sham. The other said, Ummmm, Ummmmm, I invented Google Fiber so everyone will vote for who I tell them to.
ReplyDeleteAlissia Cannady is a breath of fresh air. She has been very devoted in working with real neighborhood issues. I think Ken Bacchus is owned by Clinton Adams and the like. Alissia will do a great job!

ReplyDeleteKen Bacchus is owned by 5th-District voters and not by Clinton Adams. Adams is a figure-head for Freedom, Inc. Bacchus has served on the Council and is more knowledgeable than most candidates. The 5th-At-large District went downhill after Congressman Cleaver termed out leaving only the In-district seat to people of color. Thanks be to God, the At-large seat has been renewed. To God, be the Glory!

As for the council races. Don't you think that they are boring?
Ken and Alissia are both great candidates--TKC's right about that. But both gloves are about to come off, and this race isn't going to be nice for long.
