TKC NOTE: A word from our pal Criag about his weekend plans and his work shaping the entertainment world of the future. Check it:
Young Hot Standup and TV Comedy Star at Stanfords
Dan St. Germain looks tough and ready with his long hair, beard and Grizzly Adam's size, but he's mostly a funny hot comic. Dan is from the east but hails from LA today. Germain moved to LA recently due to his many TV obligations. Dan starred in Guy Code, Host of Best Week Ever, In Security and has also done Conan several times as well as Jimmy Fallon. Comedy Central recently did his stand up special. He's on a roll.
Germain makes his first trip to Kansas City this weekend. Dan will headline the show this Friday and Saturday night at the new Stanford and Sons Rosana Square 119th and Metcalf.
It's an outstanding show cause Dan is killer and his co star is Mike Smith. Mike is from the KC area and considered by many including me, to be one of the area's most talented stand up comedy talents.
If Mike would only move to LA he has the tools to make it up the food chain. Smith has been on BET and Comedy Central, but won't move to due to raising his two sons right here in KC.
Next week will be special. Ricard Pryor's daughter, Rain Pryor, will make her first trip to Kansas City. Yes she inherited his talents. Rain has already done the Tonight Show, headlines in Vegas and wrote the book on her life with her famous father Richard Pryor. For tickets call 913400 7500 or go online to stanfordscomedyclub.com.

At Stanfords a spastic gorilla is funny after a gut full of watered down whiskey. Jim Beam should be getting top billing.
ReplyDeleteFor a second i thought it was Zach Galifinakis. Then I realized it was of course someone I've never fucking heard of.
ReplyDelete......any mention of his upcoming wedding to Toni Bones........
ReplyDeleteNow that is some funny shit and you didn't have to pay for it or buy any watered down drinks in a JoCo porta-potty....
Dude at 11:13 I used to live in SF. Was listening to the sports show on radio there two years back. Frank Caliendo was on, the voice impressionist on ESPN. He was asked his favorite character to do, first he did John Madden. Then he did Craig Glazer. For real. Funny as shit. I live in KC now. I've seen Lewis Black, Tommy Chong and at his new joint Dave Coulier. All pretty damn big names. You need to shut the fuck up. Stanfords and Glazer are some of this cities best products. You ain't!
ReplyDeleteDude at 219: Hi Craig! Sorry your ads aren't working out better.
DeleteHa. Ditto.
ReplyDeleteSaw an extended rant on Glazer on FB. Extremely entertaining reading.
ReplyDeleteAnd Craig responded in a very un-Craig like manner. He was civil, not like here or KCC.
It was deleted unfortunately.
It wouldn't matter if Glazer had Larry the Cable Guy and Ron White, you trolls would still bitch. Hey Glazer was the one who brought both of them to our town for their first, second and like tenth shows. Glazer introduced almost every comedy star there is for the last 30 years to Kansas City. A fact. Live with it trolls.
ReplyDeleteTed there are just a few anti=Glazer/Stanfords people who wait for them to have a story up to bark. That's all. You are right.
ReplyDeleteTed is Glazer and that is all that matters. Just an asshole losing his ass in Overland Park in a shitty dump.
ReplyDeleteBy the way One Block South is alive and a great place to be and some really great food to be had as well. They don't do sissy flower pot shit with their food.
Nobody who is anybody does an impression of Craig. First off, outside of Craig's little world of friends and his dump in Overland Park nobody knows who he is nor do they give a huge flying fuck. Hitler had fans as well but in the end huge numbers hated him just as Craig has managed to find himself.
Craig,
ReplyDeleteBetter less said…
Please stop trying so hard for attention. It makes me sick. Just try to be cool and not talk about it and that will make you cool. You just totally demeaned yourself.
Glazier may live alone
ReplyDeletebut every morning he awakes with the one he loves.
Craig
ReplyDeleteI don’t hate you or like you
I don’t even think about you. How can I hate something to which I am completely indifferent? I guess if I did think about you enough to care to make the effort to form an opinion about you I’d probably dislike you.
you can bank that Glazer wrote at least 8 of the positive comments
