After being shot SEVEN TIMES and spending time on a ventilator, a Wyco deputy Scotty Wood leaves the hospital today.
"Wood had completed his shift at 1 a.m. and was returning home when he stopped at the 7-Eleven. As he made a purchase, the suspects entered the store in an attempt to rob it and shot the deputy. The suspects also robbed Wood personally and then fled the scene, according to the Sheriff’s Office."
Suspects in the case recently made a court appearance and all are charged with two counts of aggravated robbery, one count of conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery and one count of criminal possession of a firearm related to the incident. All are being held in jail on $1 million bonds.
Authorities believe the case is also connected to a string of convenience store robberies throughout the metro.

Those chaps look like some wild life I saw in Pretoria in 1992 during the infamous baboon rampage. The South Africans came up with a cookie that smelled and tasted horribly to humans that the baboons loved and laced them with poison. This help slow down the rampage. I am not sure what formula would work with the vermin pictured above.
